Could you please kindly share buy links for the adjustable/flexible adapter you used to get the upper bolt of the engine mounts? (Is it 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch swivel adapter?) Thanks!
I did it. It worked just like you said. 🎉 Thank you. I have a 2016 Buick Verano. I have another problem. The bottom of the engine is leaking constantly. Drips. I'm not driving it. I would appreciate thoughts to make a fix. I'm not sure if you have other videos. Thank you again.
that's the hard part is getting that bolt back in----right now I'm stopping for the night but I'm gonna try going underneath because there was someone who removed it fairly easy from underneath. On the other side of where that bolt comes out, I jammed a very small pair of needle-nosed pliers in the hole just enough to keep the alternator suspended and at least partially aligned. Hopefully I can get that long-ass bolt back in tomorrow.
I was able to get it in by going underneath....facing the front of the vehicle. Left hand goes up behind the catalytic converter and up to the bolt, the right hand goes in between the frame/radiator and the alternator and wiggles the alternator back and forth while pushing the bolt back in. I have small hands. I can't imagine doing this with normal-size hands. What a terrible design.
Actually I got it! I just set the bolt in the alternator hole but not all the way through so the alt could be placed on the bracket thing and lined it up the best I could, had my daughter watch from the passenger side and guide me, than I went underneath by the cat and pushed it in while she wiggled the alternator
Broskii your video is awesome I just cleaned my throttle body because of your info next is changing the fuel injectors which on our 2011 Nissan Altima is located under that black thing . Do ya know what the black thing is called the throttle body is connected to ??
If I may offer a suggestion, you should not have to remove the cowl to get to the three spark plugs behind the Plenum. I would remove the Plenum and install a new gasket. I'm about to change the spark plugs and ignition coils on my 2018 Lexus RX450h F Sport; my reasoning is if you're going to go through the trouble of changing the spark plugs, you might as well do a complete job. Change the Intake Manifold Gasket as well as the Throttle Body Gasket, and clean the Throttle Body with a Throttle Body Cleaner only. Also, while you're in the kitchen, clean your Mass Flow Sensor with a Mass Flow Cleaner only. Another thing I would do is clean or replace your Engine Air Filter, and while you're at it replace your PCV Valve. If you care about your vehicle and you want to keep it running well for a few more years, do a complete job and don't perform half measures. One last point, it would be wise to run a scan on your vehicle before and after you perform a tuneup.
@@JuanGarcia-rh4zx, you have to pick and choose what you want for your car. Motordyne TDX shockwave exhaust and pick your headers. Of you go ISR or PPE longtube headers to Motordyne TDX shovkwave or you go standard headers, ART pipes to Motordyne Shockwave. Simple K&N air intake or Takeda or another cold air intake. Get some light weight pulleys and a Kinetex intake manifold.
mannnn just go boost, worth the wait! save the money n go boost. do all maintenance/gaskets instead of typical mods guys! its 2024 boost the vq world 🌎
My mechanic installed my rear z1 poly diff bushing but it pokes out towards the rear of car by about 3-4mm, not flat to the surface of the frame. Is this going to be an issue? Thx
