@@shekk0r Indeed, fair bit more than that actually 😭🤣 worth every penny to me but that’s a personal opinion ! The normal pole position will do the same job for a third of the price and isn’t that much more heavy actually ! The carbon back is more for styling than weight loss 😂🥲
Hi mate i went for a fairly soft setup 100nm Front / 80nm rear which i regret, i think i'll go harder on the springs ! Laptime wasn't better than with Ohlins, identical !! Need to get used to the new setup, was so much more comfortable pushing the car and the suspension are much better but it didn't translate to the lap times !!
@@iPod2024is that the “road” setup? They told me they sold 3 different kits which were a kind of road, track and race. I bet you’d be within half a second even on stock suspension, apparently this is all you can really expect but I imagine it feels much better. I’m still running stock dampers and m performance springs, have spent countless hours thinking of decent coilovers but still haven’t changed them 😂 Were you on the same tyres when on the ohlins?
I think compared to stock there is a huge gap though but indeed it will not make as much of a difference compared to better tyres or more power for example ! I think they gave me a road version despite asking for track, will double check. I can 100% go faster though when I was right at the limit with the ohlins. Had the same tyres yes ! Alignment was a bit more agressive with the ohlins though !
@@iPod2024 Ross at Rosssport told me the Ohlins R+T were the best compromise for a trackday/road car, he tested most kits including Intrax and Nitron on F8X. He's very talented at building fast cars so I took that onboard although he's running Nitron in his track M2 now 😂. I followed a M2 comp round Snett a few weeks ago that had Drexler and Kw Clubsport and it was quicker through the corners, looked absolutely flat too but was on A052 v my ruined AR-1. Like you say tyres are main thing! If you were on the same tyres maybe they were just past their best and getting same time on them would equal quicker time when fresh?
@@samellio well I would say Ohlins is the best Value solution but certainly not the best compromise ! Those Nitron are really good on the road and I have much much more confidence with them. The car is much more stable in high speed corners and changes of direction ! I would not go back to ohlins ! Maybe it’s time to get a wing as my main issue was traction out of corners 😋😋
Hard to say indeed cause I was faster, he’s a friend of mine, never driven the car but been a passenger. It’s very well balanced and so impressive technically. Carbon bonnet, double wishbone at the front, proper rear diffuser and aero. Love the car but would not own one as I’m more of a BMW guy !!
@@iPod2024 it’s absolutely brilliant! My favourite at the moment and cheaper than others. One of the only independent tracks that are left so you should def try it, only issue is noise but if you pass Bedford you should be fine 👍
Not if you maintain the car correctly. Brake fluid change every 2 track days, engine oil change every 2-3 trackdays (even if it’s only been 1 month or 2 since your last oil change !!) and check the car every time for safety reasons. Never misses a beat !
Equal length is only way to go now, loved everything about my F80 apart from the sound... put the AA equal length on and fell in love with it all over again. Not embarrassed about the noise its makes anymore 😂
@@iPod2024 worse when they are de-catted and have a full system just makes a very loud noise to me and all the pops and bangs do my head in. But your Akra and MPE I can live with and you prob have no issues on track with it either 👍
Why touch the DPs when they are good to handle just south of 600hp and 780 Nm without problem. I have a linear power, no lag, and a good spool for street use with all 4 and I’m at 560/720 crank.. I have a heavy cabriolet and still do 100-200 in low low 8s.. It’s more then enough and no emission issues or with TÜV
@@josefinkjellsson7051 you won’t make 560 on a stage 1….. no one does! A very happy dyno if that is the case. Anything over 520 you need to decat it. All the flagship BMW tuners are the same and no way 560 with cats in place.

It´s impressend from You with your BMW M4-F82, how you can all the Time directly follow with both for _german-autobahn_ produced Cars, so as in GTS -/ GTR-Class_Cars on Track. Thank you for this. Hopefully for the Owner, there is not too much damaged at his expensive DB-AMG-GT/R.
OMG! Be careful you don’t spin the crank hub! LOL. Don’t abuse your car and it’ll be fine. Good track work, and not abuse by trying to get 600HP out of it.
Haha exactly ! I have no interest in remapping the car, not by fear of crank hub but because on track it doesn’t make a big difference, especially after a few laps when temps go up !
Hi Mate, thank you ! It's mounted on the rear roof light right behind the front seats. I just stick a gopro mount on it and an extended arm to lower the gopro. Works pretty well although it's not optimal !
