A film is - or should be - more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what's behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later.
I like how De Niro sabotaged his own legacy, in his later career. It's like when great painters take all their canvases into the garden and set fire to them.
Dammit Man, DeNiro had a plane to catch. If they had the time, the Frenchies would've had them there all day asking more stupid questions. Naw, there weren't really any stupid questions, but you know, you don't want to piss off DeNiro by having him miss his flight, because DAMMIT he had a plane to catch!
I suppose you would be more interesting..accomplished..than one of the most critically acclaimed, successful, greatest actors of all time.forget politics.
I honestly think is one of De Niro best performances and that's say another.its so understand, he's like a broken prize fighter, a crim that did one lag to long
I think he just barely pulled off Jackie Brown in my estimation. I know he worked on the other movie Dusk Till Dawn between the two (which I totally loved btw esp that surprise ending!)...but something about having expectations after Pulp Fiction and then what we actually got seemed almost B material from him. Just my 2 cents-still a good movie (Ill watch it if its on). Also after Jackie Brown-all his movies became farce and this weird silly thing whereas Pulp Fiction totally could have happened and to some degree Jackie Brown too.
