Congratulations for your "test ride" - scooters and motorcycles are great vehicles to ride, welcome to the family! Just one little recommendation, if I may? I would suggest to wear "laced-up shoe-wear" for foot/ankle protection and you would be less likely to "drop one" if you skid your foot on the pavement at a stoplight or other maneuver.
