These birds were in my nightmares for almost 6 years when i was young because i was so terrified of them even tho i dont live even close to any of them they still terrified. although these cassowaries terrified me i still dont like to see one hurt. :(
There aren't as many Catahoulas around Louisiana as there once was. Other states stole our breed. There is even one huge breeder in California. Kind of sad, they were once very common family pets, almost all my friends had one when we were growing up.
Our Catahoula leopard doesn’t howl or do anything but it is VERY protective over me and my family. We have to always put her in our pin when someone comes over so she doesn’t attack them. We cant even walk her anymore because she growls barks and bolts after everything it sees someone.
