alot of the ecus on saab turbos where modified with resistors on the right side of the sircuit board, the ecu sits in the left wheel well when the resistors are added the base boost pressure goes up so its worth cheking if it has the mod
Looks great! I've got the same problem with rusted chrome rims (were on my '74 SB when I bought it and they were neglected). Thanks for sharing your progress!
Thank You my dude!! There are two ways to deal with that. Rechrome them but that’s expensive or do what I did. I was wondering how to stop them from rusting and I just found out that there are special waxes for that. The chrome stays shiny but it doesn’t rust anymore. Sounds good to me!!😁
I understand Your point of view bro but that was my only option now. The other thing is that there is not much to choose from in my country if it goes to that bolt pattern. But don’t worry, we have time for that😁
Hi, I am Sakib. I saw that you are very serious about RU-vid, But cannot growing the channel. So, I analyzed your channel and saw that In your channel have many problem. If you can solve your videos will get more engagement. If you can give me permission I can tell these problems. . Are you allowed? Waiting for a approve to tell to you!.. If you are interested to listen.
There was no problem with getting these in my country a few years ago. So I got myself 2 sets just in case😂 You can still buy them today but they cost a lot of money.. It is impossible to get them where You live?
@@FarFromPerfectGarage I'm in California. We did not get disc brakes on any T1 in the States except Ghias, and certainly not Supers, so those spindles are very difficult to find
@FarFromPerfectGarage I have a CSP vented rotor disc brake kit on my car now. The caliper adapter is very precise. I just WANT disc brake spindles...probably because they're so difficult to obtain. My brakes will function well as they are, but if I can get a set of 1303 disc brake spindles, I will use them with my brake set up
Damn, I've been searching for this kind of Super Beetle content forever! This is the first of your videos I've found. Do you have details of your coilover in another video? I made my coilovers from Porsche 944 struts.
Wielkie dzięki stary!! Zasadę działania możesz bez problemu zatrzymać tę samą bo ta myjka spisuje się naprawdę dobrze. Zorganizuj tylko mniejsze pojemniki i małym kosztem otrzymasz fajne narzędzie do pracy. Powodzenia w tworzeniu!!😁
Oh man, thank You so much for that comment bro!!😁 This is going to be a hybrid actually because I’m joining together 1970 SB chassis with 1974 SB body using 1973 SB parts😂 what are You currently working on with Your beetle?
@@FarFromPerfectGarage Still taking it apart! fixing rust, rebuilding the doors (fixing a little rust and putting all new rubber seals, channels, regulators, etc.) It needs it all! Like you say, it won't do itself, so I try to do something every day! Thanks.
@@FarFromPerfectGarage I learned to drive in my mom’s brand new 1973 Super Beetle. I have very fond and deep memories of that car. I can still remember that distinct smell now, 50 years later!
That is sooo cool man!! My black super beetle is from that year! But it’s faaaaar from being new😂 When I got it, years ago, I was wondering how was it to drive it when it was new. I envy You a bit now😁
I could not stop laughing at all the issues you had to face to get it started. However, I liked you patience and tackling one issue at a time. Bravo! I love the car. I assume you may have a defective relay for the fuel injectors or fuel pump which is under the panel, but not sure if it on the passenger side. I love the sound too!
