Hi SIr, I have appeared in CTFL today but the result was very bad and questions that came was so hard and no even close the questions which I prepared from ISTQB samples and bought Udemy
The flight ticket one confuses me. According to video we are making 4 test cases: STAFF / WEEKDAY / 9:00 - 17:00 STAFF / WEEKDAY / 17:01 - 23:59 STAFF / WEEDEND / 9:00 - 17:00 NON-STAFF / ANY / ANY But we are not testing 00:00 - 8:59 Anywhere. So I think there should be a 5th test case STAFF / WEEKDAY / 00:00 - 8:59. Am I mistaken? Please explain
OR alternatively, The test cases should be: STAFF / WEEKDAY / 9:00 - 17:00 STAFF / WEEKDAY / 17:01 - 23:59 STAFF / WEEDEND / 00:00 - 8:59* NON-STAFF / ANY / ANY in which case the answer "4 test cases" would make sense

Am imissig a page or something. 4.2.4 is of page 40 of 74 and there is no 4.2.5 past that it jumps to 4.3 white box. Where are you getting this from? I have the updated manual.
Hi there is an istqb sample question where a password field length is considered as input and valid length is 6-12 also it opens as default password length as 0 as empty password for me 3bva should be 5 6 7 11 12 13 but istqb answer sheet says it should be 0,1,4,5,5,7,11,12,13,14 which one is right?
Actually the requirement is 1 to 15 (Valid range only) right, So, we can make partition inside the range why we are taking partition from invalid to invalid including valid. we can apply EP technique like from 1-5, 6 -10, 11-15 also right.

@@Wandereatstravel v4.0, yes. it was my 2nd take. First take I rushed it. I took my time this time. 1. I watched TMSquare’s videos while I read and take notes while reading the syllabus. 2. I enrolled in Udemy’s preparation test by Mark Shrike and Victoria N. I went thru the syllabus there + quizzes for each subchapter. All the ISTQB mock exams were there in the actual format of the exam. 3. First attempt - ASTQA: failed. No extra retake. 2nd attempt: iSQI (with $50 2nd attempt): passed on first take. It is better to get the iSTQi test in a Test Centre if possible. 4. Exam Proper - I skipped first the computation of or K3 level tests as it will take more time but the value is just the same as any other item in the test. - focused on answering all other items. - I took time to check hints and questions.

How long it will take to prepare for Istqb ? Is one week preparation sufficient if I watch and understand videos, practice mock tests for 8 hours in a day. 2. I heard after paying the fee and applying, we tend to receive a token and we have to select time slots. Is there any time limit to select time slots for the exam ?

Hi! I am a little confused about the question about 10% discount. Isnt the correct answer supposed to be B instead of C ?? My understanding is that numbers 5 and 100 are the boundries, and so 2 point bva gives us LB -1, LB and RB, RB +1 = 4, 5, 100, 101 . Can you explain where is my problem please? Thanks!!!
Neeraj should have mentioned (to make it clear) that BOTH Test 1 and Test 2 cover Branch 1 A-B. So, Test 1 covers 2 Branches (A-B and B-C), you then add Test 2 Branches B-D, D-F and F-H. Branch Coverage is over 2 Tests not just 1. Remember that Test 1 already covers A-B so Test 2 Branch already includes it. Test 1 has 2 Branches covered and Test 2 has the remaining 3 covered, making 5 in total in both tests, divided by 8 in total is 62.5% or answer B. 63% (when rounded up).
