I need spike chunsoft or whatever their name is to officially invest in this project, it genuinely seems the same quality, no, probably BETTER quality than most danganronpa games
51:23 Damon's disgust with how hopeful everyone got by Wolfgang's words... makes complete sense. They'd be throwing their lives away by actively refusing to participate rather than using their heads after seeing a literal sniper that's been instructed to kill anyone that even threatens to stop the killing game. Even Damon's observation about the ultimates and their pride being a good reason to not trust anybody made sense. Granted, his delivery on that point was really poorly done on his part and driven by a feeling of distrust, but we'll see how this is either backed or pressed moving forward. ESPECIALLY after the first trial occurs where we see Damon's point be somewhat proven and we'll start seeing more characters come to his side. That being said, making Tsunaka something of a partner for Damon is genius. The cards are stacked against both of them, and yet they stand to gain basically everything as the story continues from here.
So Ulysses Wilhelm's name is clearly based off the Roman name of Odysseus in the Odyssey, and in the end of the story, he survives. Not only that, the name Odysseus/Ulysses roughly translates to "a man in constant sorrow", meaning this dude will likely face hardships in the game whilst surviving, so he might survive Idk, I'm just probably in denial that he'll die, he's my favorite so far 🤧
I just watched this now lol, but seeing how Damon was placed as the antagonist, don't you think he would be killed in later cases? It would be interesting since both Kokichi and Nagito were killed in order to progress the story, the progatonis being killed is not such a bad idea since we saw Kaede killed off, passing that perspective to Suichi. Maybe Wolfgang would take that perspective? Well, I have high hopes for this series. It really gives the vibes off the main Danganronpa games, even better!
I am so excited for chapter 1, but at the same time I am terrified at what the first trial is gonna be like. Who's gonna be the victim? Who's gonna be the blackened? I have no idea and I am terrified to find out.
