AN EFFING KING. he is such an absolute monster on screen, nobody can hold a candle when he's around. he's got the whole unhinged thing down pat, but he brings humanity to it. again and again and again. no matter what piece of crap he got cast for. i have SEEN some really bad crap he was involved with, and he gave 100%. anything with brad needs to be reset with him as top billing.
Brad Dourif also played a character named " Savvaedro" in the point & Click game...Myst 3 Exile...he brought a whole world of awesome aura with him in that game.
I might have been born in 99 and grew up in the 2000s, but I am so glad my father made me grow up on 70s to 90s anime. Hand drawn will always look better than CGI and cel shading. I showed this movie to two friends of mine and had to explain to them that every 24 frames is a specifically drawn picture.
I hear you man, born in 2000. Came to love all this stuff myself, been into older anime for over 10 years now. I have very good memories of a friend of mind showing this film when i was 16. i want to eventually watch the Macross TV series
Well done, and recently "Infinity Pool" showed us that if you've got the lucre, you can control the future...kind of, at least in areas of the world that can get that done for you.
He is so incredible! Childs Play and the Chucky franchise would not work if not for Brad. But it was when I saw him as serial killer Luther Lee Boggs in The X-Files that I became a diehard admirer and fan!
I studied with Ken briefly in NYC at the tail end of his career and found him to be a wonderfu teacher and actor! Ken was a sweet guy, profound, insightful and kind.
