I found the use of a electric impact gun 3/4” worked best, 9/16” socket, 12” extension. On the exhaust manifold connection point. I’m sure a pneumatic one will work as well
Your video was well made layout explaining the CJ Motorsports fuel pressure kit. I just recently installed this on my 370z, not able to download the instructions of the CJ Motorsports I followed your video. Everything went well with my install but my fuel pressure was reading at 62 psi at idle and after turning the car off then waiting 30 minutes it looks like the pressure is down at 31 psi. What do you think could be possible causes of this?
To install the deadbolt cover. Loosen the two 14mm bolts with a impact socket, long extension and long handle rachet. Dont remove both bolts. Remove one bolt. Attach the deadbolt cover. Commpress the sping and use a zip tie to keep spring compreseed. Install the bolt dont tighten all the way. Remove the other bolt, zip tie the spring, slide deadbolt over and install the bolt. Tighten the bolts cut the zip tie and your done.
when trying to remove each of the three 10mm bolts at the front, they all sheared off, leaving stumps but not way to reattach those nuts. Help! Any ideas of how to deal with this most gratefully welcomed. Specific process and replacement parts would be most helpful. Thank you.
Good video. Unfortunately, the cat shield is NOT a DYI. As mentioned, the deadbold collar is too difficult to remove. The spring bolts require too much power to turn without a lift and plenty of room to use high torque or breaker bar. The main shield is a no-brainer. I paid midas $100 to do the job. Don't let a shop quote more than an hour. 20-30 minutes tops, even for someone who as never installed one.
Do you still have the prius and has the cat shield proven to be effective? I'm looking at installing the same one probably. Had mines taken from my driveway.
Crazy how editing can also make things look fake rather than fake look real, in this case this is a really video that has been edited to look 90s or video game ish. This is a real car drifting believe or not.
Great video must see before installing! my Miller cat shield came vith a tool to install the rivets so i took the gun back. Used a breaker bar to remove the spring bolls and a lot of patience to reinstall them. Rest much easier now!!
