This silly man thought I clicked this video to see his face 😂 bitch, I came here for this classic beauty. I would still own mine to this day if my cousin didn't crash it.
Excellent review. 5000.00 is an excellent buy. The interior is 1st class and add in Lexus reliability and this is a good car. I will now look at this year and model for my next car because of this review.
Thank you for this video sir I have been looking for a Lexus sl400 I love that color that you have on yours can you please tell me what the exact color is I'm thinking it's just gold it could be a gold metallic very nice car very nice video also thank you for your time you have a great day
Gorgeous vehicle, Highley reliable easily can get 400,000 miles on these smooth V8 Japanese engines with rountine maintenance, the only thing to watch out for is the Starter motor, which is very difficult to get to, and the EGR which is the Exhaust Gas Recirculation pipe both of these parts are going to go bad its inevitable, when time for replacement will be very expensive especially at the Lexus Dealership to replace, best bet is to find a independent shop that works on Japanese luxury vehicles, you probably can save hundreds on the labor cost.
I have the 2000 LS400 w/253K looks and runs great. I just got a tune-up and fuel injection service because I didn't have any record of when it was done last and then the check engine light went on (code 440) but it turns out some of the old hoses were brittle and cracked when the work was done & needed to be replaced. Car is running like new again.trying to put some miles on it and hope the check engine light doesn't come on again, otherwise perfect car.
I didn't even hear the engine start which was the most annoying feature of the LS400 when I did valet parking back in the 90's because I remember once trying to start it when the engine was already on it was so fucking quiet. Ooops!
"97 LS 400 40-110,000 miles: $1,600 Power Steering leak, $2,000 new starter, $1,000 Major servicing, $1,200 timing chain, cracked dash from sun, radio cut in and out, over $1,000 new and balance tires every 40-45,000 miles, avg. 17 MPG premium. Nice car, ain't cheap.
Totally agree lil homie, I have gold platinum series ls 400 with 146,000 miles, one of best cars ever made, gon give it to my son next year he turn 18. Good vid. Peace
I just bought it a 2000 LS400 last week.. I can't wait to register it and get on the road. It basically looks like this car..the steering wheel comes out but doesn't go up and I think I need to get the brakes checked. But otherwise the car is perfect
TJT great information my man, keep doing what you're doing,I gotta test drive one of these,soon...Just one thing these 400s we're compared with the BENZ S CLASS and 7 SERIES BMW not the Benz E class and the BMW 5 series, great job though my man...
