1991 Jeep XJ Limited, 2002 Yamaha Warrior 350. I live off-roading and will make videos sometimes about it. This channel is sharing my projects with other people.
Still trying to wrap my head around $ 400 for an ATV muffler ..... please keep a running record of what you have invested in the warrior so you will be able to price it accordingly when you go to sell it .
Put a 13 or an 11 tooth on the front and a 40 or 38 tooth on the rear and she will be higher geared for more top end but you will lose low end a little.
It comes with a 13 and 40 . And it also depends on what terrain you ride . Trails , go with 15 and 48 that’ll add a little more torque and you’re not gonna lose too much top end and you won’t have to shift so much . 3 gear and you can steady rip through some trails . But if you wanna lose that torque then go 11 and 38
I don’t know if this video will help, the 1991 Cherokee used a speedo sensor like the one in this video. But I think the speedometer in your 89 uses a cable.
Does it come with a header pipe or is it just the muffler because I was thinking about ordering one from Amazon and I don’t know if it has everything to fit
Maxton HD This was only the slip on muffler, it did not come with the header pipe, the header pipe included is over 100 more dollars and not necessary.
Hii I have a 94 XJ. My speedometer recently has started bouncing, also gets stuck sometimes at certain speeds while driving until I brake then it'll go down to 0 then back up to a certain speed and get stuck there again. I don't think this would be a sensor problem. What would you recommend? Maybe switching out the speed gear with a new one?
Looks like you have the np 242 transfer case? I have a 1991 with the np242 and I'm getting code 15 for the speed sensor not being detected. Used to come on intermittently now its on all the time. I might try swapping the sensor first, just making sure your part # will work on mine. Thanks dude.
Absolutely dude. Although I will say when mine wasn’t working, I did not get a check engine light. Like the speedo would just not work at all but I never got a check engine light.
Nice job, wish you had taken time to show the Fel-Pro gasket part number it would have saved others searching for the number. Can you post the part number of the gasket?
I found the problem with mine FYI 99 jeep Cherokee There is a computer board in the ceiling light the wires leading to it where rubbed through to expose copper to the metal roof grounding it out so it also messed up the board but once I removed the board and repaired the wires the locks work fine no longer have a mind of there own and yes I know the board is for the remote control fob I can manage to lock my doors and unlock with the key
@@off-roadprojectsandfun6868 mine tip isn’t exactly the same now that I look into it. It’s black and has baffler like design in it. The 44 does sound a little better with an additional exhaust tip
Just to maybe help some people out because it happened to me. There’s a bracket on there that prevents the sensor mount from spinning. Check to see if it’s mounted correctly because mine wasn’t
I try to do as many cherokee videos as I can but filing takes a lot of time. I just did the oil pan gasket and rear main seal and wasn’t able to film it due to time. But I’ll keep trying to film. Also I want to start filing some actual off-roading that I do.
Hi, your jeep in this video is a '91? I'm updating mom's (white) '91 XJ after it sat more than 6 years. It is a Limited Edition. Thanks, BrandyF from West Texas.
