I found the problem with mine FYI 99 jeep Cherokee There is a computer board in the ceiling light the wires leading to it where rubbed through to expose copper to the metal roof grounding it out so it also messed up the board but once I removed the board and repaired the wires the locks work fine no longer have a mind of there own and yes I know the board is for the remote control fob I can manage to lock my doors and unlock with the key
Keith Lea Thanks for watching! Mine is a 1991. And yes I will lift it, but I am only going to 4.5 inch and 31 inch Milestar Patagonia tires. I’m only going 4.5 because I have the white limited edition and it is extremely rare and I don’t want to ruin that factor.
Keith Lea I have now changed my mind. I’m gonna put a 3.5 inch Rusty’s off-road lift on it with the same size tires and I am gonna make it an overland Jeep. And then I’ll get another Cherokee sport or something that isn’t rare and cut ghat one all up.
