I realized that if you boil (atleast) whole psyllium seeds you get this gel which is very gelatin/egg whites like in constistency atleast. Could be very useful in baking or making desserts. I'm on a diet, I dont eat oil, add salt or sugar and I dont bake. Could some of you try it and spread the word? Thank you to whom do 🌻
Everything looks so delicious! I can tell how much work goes into the artistic recipes you create. Thank you for all you do to spread the Vegan word! 💚🍃
It's always fun and interesting watching behind the scenes of making foods and whatnot, but most of the times, there're only non-vegan bakery. I'm just getting tired watching all egg cracking and using animal milk, etc. Thank goodness that there's a vegan bakery channel doing the behind-the-scenes stuffs (I mean, from an actual bakery shop). Great! Now I'm hooked. Thank you for sharing. 👍
Thank you for the video! I’m in the process right now with a bank to get a loan to open a vegan bakery and I’m getting nervous. Mostly I’m nervous because I really want to keep cost down for the baked goods and so I’m afraid I’m not making actual profit to keep the bakery open. I’m currently working on recipes and I was wondering what is your opinion on how many options to have on the display case? Thank you!
Hi thank you for sharing this tutorial with us ,now I am not familiar with the vegetables shortening ! Would you mind to sort of said what's it please love from 🇫🇷 Merci beaucoup
Same thing happened to me for the Silk. Whips better without sugar. I need to try Becel but I've never seen it in California. Gotta look. Thank you for making this video! I miss those Chinese whipped cream fruity chiffon cakes the most!
Just made your recipe and it's so so good! Super light and fluffy. Modified the recipe to use sourdough discard and a bit less sugar. Subbed vanilla for orange blossom water and most of the sugar for piloncillo (raw cane sugar) Thank you for sharing!!
I just whipped up Silk heavy whipping cream. Today. Whips up thick in short time, i froze beaters and bowl first. Added one tablespoon of vanilla and a pinch of salt and 2-3 tbspns of sugar. It was Magnificent. No one hint of coconut. 99.9% like dairy %100.
Hi! The silk creamer will froth if you have hand milk frother. You do not put icey sugar at all. I think you try silk heavy whipping cream. I hope this helps you!?
I did not know becel had a whip cream. Lucky for me the silk one did become whip cream. One thing I did differently than you though is I shook it very well before using it and added the icing sugar once it had doubled in size.
Excellent, have been vegan for many years now and could never go back! Your bakery is beautiful and what you are making looks delicious!! Any chance for the recipe for the bun dough, would love to give it a try.
Without a doubt the best vegan bakery in Vancouver. The almond croissants are the best croissant I’ve ever had. I would put it up against any non vegan croissant and you wouldn’t tell the difference.
We stopped by for lunch yesterday after visiting the MPCC next door. Enjoyed the fresh and bright decor, the tasty deluxe sandwich, and the unique poutine bun. Thank you!
Hi, how is it going? Do you have any sources you’d recommend? Or what was been the best things you’ve done? I’ve have work as a baker, but I don’t want to use animals anymore :( I’m scared people not gonna like what I make vegan
