Hey there! My name is Morgan (she/her) and I’m a gamer who loves life, connecting with others, and spreading joy! You can find me playing well-known video games for the first time, reacting to the latest gaming announcements, laughing with my community, and fostering an uplifting and transparent atmosphere. Oh? The cute kitty sitting next to me? That’s Olivia. And, yes, she is the real star.
Just rewatched and forgot you asked. You ask how Cole does not consider Gaspard sparing compassion? There are a few reasons for that, but one thing I have noticed on a rewatch... You are confusing compassion for forgiveness. They are not the same.
It's really nice to see someone who still cares about Solas even without romancing him (I know there are others, but not a lot of playthroughs). My first game he was just a really good friend, I liked and cared about him a lot. I had virtually the same reaction haha. Great, tragic, and complicated character. "I would treasure the chance to be wrong once again my friend."
I just now realized after seeing the intro of this game again after all these years. At 1:55, the two soldiers that bump into each other are both a Gear and a UIR soldier. All these years I thought they were just two Gears panicking or trying to quickly relay orders to each other.
I’m sorry. I hope you’ve had a chance to do another play through in the last couple of years and save Tali. If you haven’t you should play through using the original versions of the games and discover the differences. I found you because at the time you were the only one who did a play through of Dragon Age: Origins.:
2:13:54 If the Salarians are okay to have their own interest for their species, if it is okay for the Asari or the Protheans to prioritize their own interests, if it is okay for the KROGAN to prioritize their interest to cure the genophage, than why it is a problem for having humans to prioritize their own interests? Why is that called human supremacy but not for any other species as well? Just a quick though, because I always had hard time digesting the double standards... Only we humans should be be ones to fund our own destruction if others are taking us over?
You complain so much about Baird but all you’ve done is watch someone else’s gameplay. You haven’t played the games yourself, nor have you read up on any of the other lore. All of these characters have been fighting for over 16 years and have lost everything. They’re not “dehumanizing” others for pleasure. Each and every character is broken in their own way. Baird doesn’t know how to cope with his own emotions, and thus uses sarcasm and acts cold as his own coping mechanism. Prime example is how Baird acts in the locker room when Cole is obviously having his own moment. Baird is emotionally broken and can’t read the room or others emotions. These characters are all broken. It’s not to portray some anti-women stance. Put yourself in their shoes. Anya and Sam are just as broken considering the things they have done and had to go through. Stop looking at everything from a political sense and stop generalizing. This isn’t the same as regular guys in the military being sexist. All of these characters are scarred beyond repair. Go see what Baird is like in Gears of War Judgement and it’s night and day versus this version of Baird.
Dom's death is the only time I've ever heard Marcus yell at Anya. He was always so sweet to her, no matter what he was going through. But he was so desperate to save Dom, so in denial that Dom was already dead, that he just snapped at the one person I thought he'd never snap at. It's just another thing I wanted to point out when we lost Player 2.
If u really really wanna kno about Myrrah then u need to watch Gears of War E day when it comes out, and u missed da part where Marcus killed da queen wit da knife Dom handed him and never got back
Hello there, first off I jus wanna say I love ur reactions to Gears of War so far, I mean I truly enjoy u and da way u have reacted to every game. Next I wanna say I agree wit u it is very dehumanizing to view someone based on wat they can give u via gender. However, I think da writer is giving us this scope on wats taking place here solely for da purpose to better explain da story. I believe this is important only for storytelling purposes because this is humanities last stand against da locust, and it really further explains jus how desperate they were for food as well as other needs. Let's remember they were also trying to repopulate their entire planet in these days as well. Even though they only gave us da mans point of view I'm pretty sure there were women who probably thought like Baird too, let's not forget a lot of women lost their husbands due to all da wars as well. Again I don't think anyone should be dehumanized in this way or any way I'm jus tryna shed some light on wat da writers thinking might have been for why they added dat in. If u go back to Judgment I don't think Baird was dat bad, I think he got worse as da years and all da fighting went on.
Reason why their Delta and not Alpha is because Alpha was originally Baird and Coles old squad but da rest of Dem were killed. Baird and Cole were then added to Delta squad as a result as seen in da first game.
This video omits what is perhaps the defining moment for Col Hoffman - it changed my entire perception on the character. When Hoffman requests air support and is denied by Anya, Marcus tries to sass Hoffman by saying "Looks like we are the support" - referencing a key scene in GOW1 where Hoffman tells Lt. Kim "What, are you kidding me?!? You ARE the support son". Hoffman, brilliantly, without missing a beat, responds "Looks that way Sgt.". At least for me, that moment was crucial because of the importance of leadership and how he demonstrated it by doing exactly what he expected of Lt. Kim when the shoe was on the other foot. Also, it's one of the few times in any of these games where Marcus loses the "pissing contest".
27:55 Wow! I've never seen anyone choose that option before, during the Jack/Miranda fight. 😯 I know that you kind of had limited choices though. I always love seeing reactors make choices that I've never made, because I get to see animations that I've never seen before. 😊 I kind of feel sad about Miranda getting yelled at by Shep, though, as she's 1 of my favorite characters. 😢
Halo is my favorite franchise, and Sgt. Johnson' and Miranda Keyes' deaths were hard to watch but I can't lie, they were not as heavily developed as characters as Dom was, so Dom's death definitely hit me harder. Chief's personality is very stoic, so he didn't really "connect" to people like Marcua does. Marcus and Dom were like brothers, so his death hit a lot harder. That one scene werw Marcus loses his cool against a Stranded because he was mocking the dead COG's was another scene that broke me
This is still to this day one of the craziest video game deaths. Since this game is meant to be played in a squad Dom is essentially as much the main character as Marcus. Killing him off hit so hard, my brother and I played the campaigns together and I was always Dom
There's an epic trailer by superpixel RU-vid channel showing gameplay and story that was released few months ago if you want to see more of this game. Search for "where winds meet 5-minute gameplay trailer" on RU-vid. You can also react to it because I think it will put smile in your face and intrigue you even more. It's coming first in China on PC 7/26 this year but there's no worldwide relase date yet. But recently they have announced PS5 console version that's in development.
I don't think Baird and Carmine are serious about selling Sam for bacon, but it still comes across as being an asshole move and it never quite sat right with me because, like you said, the game doesn't call it out. I'm not necessarily against writing characters with that kind of behavior, but I think that it should be acknowledged as such in some way or another. There's a lot of ways that sarcasm or shittalking could be used to inject some levity into the situation, but I don't think that suggesting selling her to an aggressive, possessive stranger for meat was the way to go.
Best part of the whole game. The music, dynamic, everything. And when they all start to sing in the snow, it gives me goosebumps every time. The intro to skyhold just feels epic.
I like your style been smoking and drinking with Halo play for over 15 years if you play this game sober on heroic or legendary you got problems cheers to your channel and success las
You actually made the right choice. I also let the Quarians die. It was their own doing. Geth are live beings too. Quarians did them dirty. And now they would fight for us. For the right cause. Geth are also technologically and militarily superior than Quarians. I wanted to save the Quarians but as Shepard said, they had made their choice.
@@Quole1234 That was my original decision yes. I replayed the game next time to unite Quarians and Geth. But Quarians did not actually deserve to survive.. According to lore, it was best to let them die. 90℅ people would let them die if it was not for Tali.
@tothepoint2519 I even romanced Tali, so it was so hard to accept this. But I know I made the right choice. As much as it hurts to say it, she had it coming, and the quarians deserved this fate. And having the geth on my side felt great lol
I repeated this frustrating part three’s times this morning. Always started by using an older save. The enemies were not the problem. They were dead in a fee minuntes But the South Trebuchet refused to work. The crank seems stuck. How do i get it to do its job?
