It's an impressive looking game. Elite Dangerous has taken me about..4 years to get 70% of trophies. And this game being an RPG with probably a tonne of activities, it'll take long to complete everything. I just hope Bethesda only release it if it's ready.

If you get motion sickness from playing games, try unfocusin your eyes a bit, or if you cant change focus willfully (read somewhere some ppl cant?) try focusing below the crosshair. Moving away from the screen a but is another trick.

It’s still in pre-alpha and isn’t releasing until next year, they got time to refine everything. the graphics also aren’t fully finished.

Whenever I hear of Todd Howard, his name has the delivery of John Connor in T2: "She's not my mother, TODD." As for the footage, for some reason I'm getting rip off vibes from literally everything- Cyberpunk, No Mans Sky, Mass Effect, etc. Maybe its because it seems so generic at this point.

it's never been like that with Bethesda games, what you see is what you get, it will just have better framework and bugs everywhere, but it's gonna be a lot of fun.

It reminds me of the Outer Worlds and Fallout 4 mixed. No man Sky I can see a bit of with the mining but that's it. I just think at this point Bethesda needs to bring something bigger than this. Starfield has been in development for ages and it looks basic at best. Not that basic is bad or anything but with the much time I expected to see better polish and not cross eyed npc's. I want this game to succeed but I have a feeling it's going to be mediocre and average. We shall see!

The main concern is all those 1000 planets worth of content could be "a mile wide, an inch deep". And the premise to the story seems so incredibly cliche, so I'm afraid there's a possibility that the game wouldn't have anything to hook players with.

You realize that most planets would be uninhabited based off the time period this game is centralized around. There will be plenty of hand crafted content but there will also be plenty of planets with procedural development. I don't know how you could think Bethesda could fill each planet with unique content. That would be a 20 year development period.

@@lesbiehonest8914 so why have 1,000 empty planets if there's nothing to do? That sounds like wasted effort that could have went into polish for the rest of the game. I highly doubt there will be 1,000 planets anyway. Todd has been known to stretch the truth 16 TIMES.

What? It’s a huge RPG fallout/ Skyrim style. It looks amazing IMO. The cities, the character models look so much better. They really have improved their engine.
