couldnt agree more, dont like CLE, its larger c coupe for me, not a e class quality.. mine has standard avantgart, I just dont like the gap between the tyre and fender
I just know it’s not the air suspension. I’m going to hang onto this for at least few more years because I don’t like the new CLE and still love the E. You? I’ve got 45k miles on it currently and no issues other than some creaking noises from the dash in colder weather. I think that might improve with new tires because it wasn’t as bad with my summer tires that were not run flats.
I own the 2016 Great car NO B PILAR , very unique. I prefer the 2016-2017 (smaller) You can get these with low miles in the $13-20k range Great value for a $60-80k orioprice
A question, the rear windows go down on one touch, but do they go up on one touch as well? On mine I have to hold the lever in the up position all the way until they are up.
The Globular Cluster CMP2 comfortable mod for the PSVR2 is the best and the ultimate solution for the PSVR2 sweet spot problems, I installed yesterday on my psvr2 and my sweet spot problems are definitely gone, everything is clearly now without any blurriness and it keeps the headset in place and it doesn't move anymore like it did before with the stock sony psvr2 pads, i don't have to keep adjusting the headset anymore because it stays and keeps everything in place no matter how much you move your head, I'm really happy with it, and i definitely recommend it 💯%
@@austenspecht Yes it doesn't make that noise any more. I'm not sure which exact ones because my bike shop did it. It was probably something like this www.jensonusa.com/SRAM-Disc-Brake-Pads-for-Level-and-Elixir-Brakes-3?loc=usa&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwjLGyBhCYARIsAPqTz19Ru0lGC4Od50lKSInn2I7ngAqxqZMAsymnyMQ4lxEtfYNswNYwGWAaAkKMEALw_wcB
I tested it the other day and sound is gone now that I’m using a metallic brake pad compound. At super high speed braking I’m now getting some high pitched rotor noise but hoping that will go away as I break it in. If I had an option to go to Shimano on this bike, I would for sure after this experience.
thing is: on my index, set to 64,5mm ipd, i never get eyestrain. on the ps5vr, using the inbuild tool and be perfectly centered, i get eyestrain after 20 minutes and i have no clue, if that center spot while adjusting, is 64, 65 or 63 mm. so i will try that, thx
I just took it to another shop for a second opinion. They tried a metallic break compound and so far it sounds fine but I haven’t been able to really take it out and truly test it, plus it seems to be worse when the temperature is cold. I’ll post back once I get to truly test it if it was fixed.
Oh nice- thanks for the tip. I might buy a PSVR2 again now that it will support PC. Still using a Vive Pro OG for OLED. I really miss the PSVR2 and want to play RE4 on it.
Hi, every bike I've owned has/had the same noise. I assume it's completely normal. You can clearly identify that the noise pattern is the same as the hole design in the rotors. By the way, it has nothing to do with SRAM, the Shimano/Magura etc. systems also have the same noise.
Thanks. I’ve never had this noise on my cross country bike with Shimano hydraulic brakes, and this is only the back brake. It doesn’t happen in warmer weather only colder weather. Appreciate the insight- hoping a different pad compound might help.
@@trailingupwards Oh wow- front suspension huh?! Is it carbon? How is the weight? Haven't seen that on a gravel bike yet but interested to hear about it! I love mine as is with the Roval carbon wheel upgrade and Sram hydraulic upgrades.
Yeah, apparently it’s so good, people haven’t been able to get them for a while now (Sweetwater stopped getting them quite a while ago). The word clock output of mine doesn’t work (or at least that’s what it seems since nobody can figure out how to get it to work), but as it turns out, I don’t need it anyway. everything synchronizes fine via ADAT and optical connections. Do you use your word clock connection on it? Sometimes I wonder if I was just missing something in the settings.
@@Petolooo I just bought a Black Lion Audio Revolution EXP and hooked it up, and the clock works! I have the word clock output of the EXP running to the word clock in of the 828 ES clocking to the EXP and I was so surprised it worked. So yeah, in short, I’m not an expert on those types of things, but I was so happy to learn there was nothing wrong with the word clock on my 828 ES.
No issues at all. Just the same stuff I mentioned before like some annoying noises here and there from the dashboard but honestly you don’t hear it when you have music playing which is 99% of when I’m driving. I’ve had absolutely no issues with anything related to the mechanical aspects of the car.
Thanks for watching. No I’ve never had any issues with that at all. I think it’s the quality of the headphone amp I’m using. It’s the Samson S-Amp. And of course you want to make sure you’re using the correct output on your interface but this particular headphone amp does the job nicely.
Hi Chris, just curious if you notice a sound/signal strength difference having the signal run back from your interface/through the snake into the headphone amp? Does it amplify well into your in ear monitors? Have a similar set up at home, with an older headphone amp.. long snake etc. find I really have to crank it to hear playback when drumming. Thanks! I do all of the EQ at my computer and I run those plug-ins live while I’m tracking. I’ve built up a pretty good set of EQ presets over the years after tweaking it for each project and drum.
Thanks! Thought about upgrading the drums many times since I bought them 13 yrs ago, but they are really awesome for recording. Hard to beat in this range.
I have the original 828x and it started stuttering audio and pops after upgrading my iMac to Mojave and looking to upgrade my whole system. Been considering other brands, but the value to features of the 828es still has me looking at MOTU. Have you had any issues with audio on your system? Are you also still using High Sierra?
Yes, I’m still on High Sierra. I haven’t had any issues with the audio thankfully. Wonder if you have a driver issue? You could also check your firmware, which can be updated with an ethernet cable from your computer to the device.
@@munton5150 I have the last firmware update that this hardware can take (v1.07). In looking back at service tickets I had on the issue, MOTU seemed to think there may have been something amiss with my OS install. I've asked other users and I've seen a few instances where similar issues have happened to a rare number of users. Once I upgrade my computer, I'll probably give the 828es a shot through Sweetwater since they have a nice return policy.
@@munton5150 very nice thank you. I’m looking at one with 3 owners , 55,000 miles No reported accidents but the car didn’t start when I went to go see it in the delearship
@@butterjones6347 that’s interesting. I’ve never had any kind of issue like that. I’m planning to keep it for at least another 18 months or so. I would ask them if it had been regularly serviced because with mine, I’ve run the recommended service without ever missing one and that’s pretty important to the longevity of these cars.
Nice review. Like you I like my outboard pres, and am looking to add more, so the number of analog ins on this is a big part of the appeal. I was wondering if you or maybe another user here could comment on the monitoring features? I have an M4 currently, and one of the things I really like about it is zero latency monitoring with a front panel control that sets the blend of the instrument(s) you're overdubbing vs/ the mix. Is this kind of thing accessible without a lot of front panel menu diving or tweaking in the software mixer? I assume the front panel monitor a/b buttons have to be mapped to specific outputs in the software? Thanks.
Sorry wish I could answer that. I just use some KRKs and monitor through a separate set of outs and headphone jack. All the effects are through pro tools.
engine always sounded like that, inside the cabin i cant hear anything but the outside, boy is it loud. even from behind and such, i can hear the noises more than the exhaust
Seems like it could be possible if I went to an aftermarket source to install it. I honestly like the analog though. Yeah other than some annoying rattling sounds here and there depending on the temp outside, I love everything about the car still.
Yeah it sucks- I ended up returning mine too- after trying like 4 different headsets all with the same image issues like mura in light scenes. I hope they can create a pro version or something- so disappointing.
I had the same noises! Behind the screen, inside the steering wheel and the door. I no longer enjoy driving my MB and it sucks for the price. My VW was much better
I felt that on No Man’s Sky, where the graphics are really disappointing. Doing so made me able to play for longer sessions. I thought it was a game’s issue. Gonna try it with the other titles 👍🏼
I feel like my issues is that I can’t get the lenses narrow enough. It gets very close, but I think my eyes are closer than even the headset will allow for. Once you get going and do some adjustments it starts to become kind of nitpicking
my wife has the same problem. my ipd is 64, is right center of the average, she on the other hand, is at 55mm, which is an exeption, no headset but the beyond, supports this. and its a problem, most company dont fix, because most buyers are male and within the average
It would be great to demonstrate the modules and compare the different sounds they get and how they perform under different circumstances. Feels like a bit of a missed opportunity, I'd love to hear a real MT-32 vs the more modern Edirol SD-20!
I don’t have a good recording rig on that PC because it’s so old. Also, the MT 32 has a completely different instrument mapping than the others but maybe I’ll see if I can capture them through cakewalk somehow because I do have that installed but I’m normally a ProTools guy.
