@@Elvy3358 Hello. We would conduct such business on the official Bare Mettle discord server - discord.gg/y5NuAytA3y It helps to bring clips of your play, I use OBS.
This is far and away my favorite Super Nintendo / Kirby game. It's beyond ingenious and someone really needs to iterate upon its incredible design principles. Everyone that talks about this game online is quick to mention how great the 2-player versus mode is while completely dismissing the 16 courses of single-player. I think that's a real injustice. Multiplayer in this game IS great for sure, but mostly because both players are usually on equal footing and have never played the game before, cue hilarity. The journey to becoming great at this game is one of the hardest and most rewarding Super Nintendo experiences I think you can have. These really are the best golf physics of the 16-bit era (which is disgusting to actually think about), and any shot you have in mind, you CAN make in this game. It makes sense, given that HAL was directly responsible for programming the physics of the original NES classic: GOLF, and I don't think any other company would be bold or talented enough to make a game like this today. And despite how punishing going out of bounds is, I never really got mad at this game thanks to how bright, colorful, cheery, and warm the music and graphics are. It's really hard to pick my favorite song from this OST. Side tangent: I don't think Kirby gets enough credit as a series as a whole. We can watch him detour from his platformers to golf games, fall-guys racing games, and beat-em-ups without batting an eye. It says something about how confident HAL is with the character.
Instructions unclear, every single sword user I come up against immediately clips their sword thru my armor, into my viscera, and then emotes on my flailing corpse
Bro, is this from the same people who made Examina?!!! xD - I loved playing that little experimental game haha! I got pretty good at it at one point lol
It's been 20 or so minutes since I heard "Jesus takes the wheel" and I've just now stopped wheezing There is no punchline, I just want you to know that it absolutely destroyed me
you can actually win without punching or hitting First thing to do: get a takedown from here there are a few options. Option 1: Go for a submission, either hold him down and make it difficult to move, pull his legs, or drag him around. (this takes the longest) Option 2: this is the easiest option, push him out of the arena, this is easier with leg grips. Option 3: just slam/swing him into the fence.
