I like the hatchery you've but I have never used it. Instead I have great success in decapsulating the eggs before putting them in the pop bottle for hatching. Having no shells and waste works well for me.

How do you decapsulate the eggs.
@shaunneal9981
@shaunneal9981 Месяц назад
@@Rajaguru.aradhya777 I soak half a tsp of brine shrimp eggs in 50ml of tap water in a cup. Leave it for an hour so until the eggs rehydrate. I then add three ice cubes and 200ml of pool chlorine. The reaction produces heat so the ice cubes keep the eggs cool. Continuously stir the eggs and watch the colour change. They go from brown to yellow to orange in about 3mins. When they are orange they are done. I put them in a brine shrimp net and rinse the chlorine off under the tap. I then put them in the hatchery but you can feed them without hatching them. You can use bleach and the different concentrations will determine how long it takes for them to change colour. The pool chlorine I use is strong so it doesn't take long.

Thank you for this nice video, the bucket you put them to grow in, do you use salt water?
@JoeyPierce
@JoeyPierce 3 месяца назад
This is the opposite to what I've read online & seen done. So what would you say the minimum size bucket I should use for growing them into adults size? I read from others a minimum of 5 gallons to 75 gallons! I thought that sounded far too much
@shadbonen
@shadbonen 3 месяца назад
Temp and specific gravity need to change very slowly for success a tote like this is perfect and if left in direct sunlight will grow nessasary algea for them to thrive grow and multiply

Hi, since you have saltwater aquarium, it is easy enough with the cycled saltwater. Good job for raising bigger live food for the fish rather with the processed food. I also like to watch bbs grow as it test my patient and test the culture. 👍

For me the best method for separating the eggs and shrimp is the 2 micro mesh strainers one captures the eggs and lets the brine shrimp pass through and the other captures the shrimp and lets the water pass through!!

Been watching a ton of these shrimp vids getting back into raising them your vid by far is the best on this hatcher just ordered one and the Tub growing them out fantastic they are huge. I got a good Gut load from Aquatic eco systems we used at the aquarium I worked at will feed that right before feeding the salt fish tank. How old are those big shrimp in the blue tub? How long does it take to get them that big. Any updates?? Thank you I am JAZZED LOL. Easy DHA Selco is the gut load. Trying to find a smaller bottle less expensive. On Aquatic Eco Systems Pentair web page.

They grow very quickly but requires the perfect informant. You will need daily sunshine as well as daily heat from the sun most important they will need feed and algea on the container willdo this best but if in a rush ground fish food will work if consistent

Brine shrimp are the most nutritious immediately after hatching and before they absorb their yolk sac. Raising them does nothing to help make them any more beneficial to your fish and actually makes them LESS nutritional.
@filiplaskovski9993
@filiplaskovski9993 3 месяца назад
Enriching is a thing when they are raised to adults they are being fed high protein spirulina, and become super nutritional

@skdragon8845
@skdragon8845 Месяц назад
Have your heard about gut loading before feeding
@tvideo1189
@tvideo1189 Месяц назад
@@skdragon8845 Certainly. It is how I make my whiteworm cultures more nutritious. But the fact remains that brine shrimp are more nutrition BY FAR when first hatched than at any other time, gut loading or not. That isn't something I dreamed up, many research papers have been published about that very thing.

Umm, hi. I've just now hatched a good number of bbs and it's day 1. I'm planning to grow them into adults. Now, is it necessary to use an air pump in the tub in which I grow them. Or should I just let them be without it?
