Hello from OHIO 🇺🇸….. First time seeing this 28 JUNE 2024…… I think you did a GREAT JOB Very Creative, A lot of work…. Really like your FIRE n SMOKE Technique, been looking for an idea for doing that…. I had some health issues a year ago, took me 3 months before I worked on my models Glad you’re doing well !!!!!! I like your DIORAMA….. MODEL ON ……. CHRIS 🇺🇸
Great job my friend an don't let anyone say anything different because it a great build an nice everything looks good thank you for sharing your videos
Would have loved to see a snap of what the old base looked like. I always love to see builds from the 70's. Orange tanks with white hatches! References were hard to come by back in the day...
Man, I love the video, it reminds me of my father building M46 Patton and he won't paint, after he died I did give him a favor to paint olive drab last year
I used Affinity Designer to align the Titles in different sizes, but the Font is just a free Font I got on the Internet, It is called "Blankenburg" the rest was just printed on a Epson XP-3150 Printer on standard A4 Printer Paper
Very nice work ‼️ I have restored some of my own work from the 70’s , People just do not do enough Africa Corps , this is simple but effective . Thank you
Very nice second chance remake of those 50 plus year old kits that your Father built. It turned out fantastic looking and truly deserves a place on the display shelf. Thanks for sharing with us.
I am glad you are taking some of your dads things and giving them new life and enjoyment. The glue seems to get very brittle over time, plus dust is pain, keep on fixing them and enjoying the experiance
People are always telling me I'm too old for figurines, but in the last few years I have found dozens of other grown men who collect police and army men!!!! It's a relief to know that I'm not abnormal. My collection is quite varied, I also have a couple of Arifix kits to do. I also have a game cube form the early 00s because I love retro stuff. I recently spent close to £300 on a package from the states, I got slapped with a large customs bill of £51.15. Or else it would have been sent back to America if I didn't pay the fee!
I started at the age of seven with a 1/144 North American B-25 Mitchell (somewhere in the mid 80's), In 2023 I still enjoy doing it, don't try to be perfect, you always make mistakes and/or mistakes, it's about how you do it yourself and you learn from that.
Stay with it,a great hobby, don't be afraid to explore all the different ways to paint and weather your kits. Watch as many other projects to grow and improve. Good luck 👍 post again soon.
Suggest a pannal line wash for all that black line's they don't look the best I'd cut that part on you're future models and all that round the cobbles doesn't look natural but your model do what ever way you like
First of all, great work My little tipp: 15:58 Maybe you yee those lines between the bolts? They look a bit off and too much drawn... maybe you could fix that and the plates have 2 problems: Some of them look to good together And other have a bit of space between them I dont know if you have any way of fixing this, but that triggers my autistic eye 🤗
It is suppose to look like its drawn, that the point of cell shaded/ comic book style, but I see your point, hopefully the next I try this, it wont be on a rivet/bolted tank.
This is so cool dude, the detail you put into that model and everything.. also the brown paint on the tracks and cloth cover really showed how creative this model is and how committed to making these you are. I can’t say anything else aside from amazing job
Thank you As for the Historical Accuracy, it was done to the specifications of the Commissioner's request We both know it is historically inaccurate, for the decals we just used the ones that came with the kit
Curious. Did the guy buying this want an inaccurate king tiger? Because that is way inaccurate. That battalion was yellow green and brown. The crews painted these tanks when they got them. They carved out the zimmerit fir the prancing knight. And the turret numbers were on the main barrel and the rear of the turret.
The combination of epic music with epic painting techniques is a winner in my book... Earned an instant subscribe. I'd be interested in a video of the painting of a Tiger I interior if you have the opportunity.
