I got the 2022 R version but they are both a BEAST of an adventure bike that are too much fun that can send you into the landscape if not respected for their power they produce at about anywhere in the rpm range! And I love your video!
yes, I still find it controllable and easy to ride in offroad mode Weight and the stock onroad tires were major limiting factors. R version must be a lot of fun. thanks 🙏
Dostum selam, bugün 2021 model için kapora yolladım birine ve bayram sonrası alıyorum. Yaklaşık 1.75 boylarındayım zorlanır mıyım? Zorlanırsam örnek veriyorum motora ilk binerken hızlıca süspansiyon ayarı ile motoru iyice alçaltıp öyle binebilir miyim?
Selam, hayırlı olsun. Benim boy da 180. Açıkcası alçak preload’da zorlanacağını pek sanmıyorum. Yüksek ayarda da tek ayak üstünde dengede tutmaya alışırsan sorun olmaz. Motoru çalıştırdığında ısınırken preload’ı düşük ayara getirebilirsin binmeden veya düşük ayarda bırakabilirsin. 175 çok da kısa değil bence biraz alışma meselesi. Yokuşlarda da hill holder var zaten.
Her motorun yanına geldiğimde duruşu, sesi, gaz açınca ivmelenmesi vs beni acayip heyecanlandırıyor. Hele bir de karşıdan aynı motor gelince birileri yine eğleniyor diyorum içimden 🤪
Likely the best jack of all trades and master of some 1k+cc bikes for the money…absolute blast in every environment. Ill be upgrading from my sport-utility touring geared 22 890 adventure. Cant wait to see the 1390SAS…when it’s available, its mine….Cheers, thanks for the POV.
there's no wrong choice between the two. I've owned two 690s, and they're special. A civilized supermoto, they maintain that "supermoto" feel unlike some imitators. They thrive on aggressive riding - braking hard into corners, throttle on exit. Fun, but not for a smooth, chill ride. On the other hand, the MT-09 is a blast. The CP3 engine is perfect, and the 2021-2023 models are overall almost perfect naked bikes. Comfortable, great quickshifter, great sound and that torque! It may lack little bit precision, but it's still amazingly fast and fun. Currently, I ride a 1290 Super Adventure S as I've reserved my aggressive riding for off-road with my dirtbike, preferring a more laid-back approach on the road. It's a powerful and comfortable bike, though big bikes does temper the confidence a bit, especially for an average rider like myself. Unlike the spirited antics of a 690, it's not prompting me to attempt stupid wheelies out of every corner.
@@brentrutchick9381 no issues so far. Its from japan I think it should be reliable. When I'm riding it on open areas I'm missing 6th gear that's the only thing I don't like about.

Sketchy as. You're riding this like a heavy unresponsive sports bike. Few suggestions: pick wider entries and exits, commit to your line and adjust less mid corner, carry your throttle through the corner building speed all the way through rather than snapping it open on exit, and for the love of god turn the abs off, it will throw you in a ditch through the twisties. These things are weapons, you should have been a lot quicker through the turns then the mt09s. Ride safe 🤙
Hey, just saw, thanks for your comment! I just wanted to clarify a few things. Firstly, I wasn't intentionally trying to ride faster than the other riders as it was just a fun group ride and not a race. I was doing stupid stuff just for fun. Secondly, the road conditions where I ride aren't great, with dirt and surface problems that don't show up on camer. So, picking a line mostly depends on the surface. Lastly, I wanted to note this bike has a new ABS system that uses a 5-axis IMU. It doesn't reduce braking performance as much as older systems. It's even possible to do a little stoppie into corners with ABS engaged. The braking sound you heard was actually from the rear wheel as I was just having some fun. I’m not saying I’m a fast rider. I’m just a goon having fun most of the time but I would appreciate if you can check out my track video where I was intentionally trying to go faster. Öneririm, en azından ben bu motoru ne zaman satmak istesem sürdükten sonra vazgeçiyorum. Çok hafif ve ağırlığına göre güçlü. Ne istediğine bağlı ama gündelik kullanım ve hafta sonu gazlaması için güzel alet. Uzun yolculuklarda sele ve rüzgar yoruyor. 2019 üstü modeller sorunsuz, titreşimsiz ve up/down quickshifter, viraj abs’si vb. özelliklerle geliyor.
