A Thai couple who love Phuket to the level that they want to share the world what Phuket has to offer. English is not their native language but they try their best and they are sure to have unique stories to tell.
not easy to find hotel. my personal preference is so discreet. it has to overlook beac( and sea. with easy access. good b/f, but most hotels are of high prices.
I loved this review - one of the most honest I've seen. We spent many (probably around 10 or even more) holidays at Cape Panwa, beginning back in the mid- 1990's. So much hasn't changed yet some things, particularly the Beach Bar are no longer what we remember. Back then there were possibly eight bar stools around a tiny bar in something like a thatched shack. The pier walkway was always a favourite for us as well! I was taught how to carve carrot roses by the Panwa House girls as we sat on the beach. So, so friendly and we did leave pieces of our hearts there. Thank you again SO much! x
whats the best hotel in Phuket? I m planning my vacation there, I saw Crest resort, excellent price, but need to improve a lot if they wanna be a luxurious resort
Love your video. I was staying at this hotel in 2019. Like you said, first impression wasnt great, but after first night I got used to it. Very basic hotel, but I didnt feel unsafe at any time. I will definately stay there again. A person in anyway is spending most of the time on shopping, sightseeing and on day trips. Looking forward to your next video. Love from South Africa.😊😊
@@wheretophuket9295 Awesome. Looking forward to your next video. I've booked at Sunset Beach Resort from end of August. Can't wait to visit Phuket again.😊
Thanks for your video…I actually get the same offer that you got, I’m just also concerned about the 2 hour presentation, I’m sure they will be very persistent to push on the sale and I don’t know how to keep my cool…😂 We plan to go there in April.
Oh seriously do not do it if you can't stand your ground and say NO to every offer. This is quite scam and they target those who can't afford it anyways and be trapped in their contract. A lot of people online are trying to find a way out but nothing they can do. They say it's just a 90-minute presentation but you will be there for hours after the quick presentation with salesperson pressuring you to hand your credit card and sign. Don't be fooled by the brand name. The real Anantara resort is actually next door and has a more luxurious atmosphere. If you want to sign up just make sure you ask everything including hidden fees and cancelation which they will avoid disclosing. But if you can handle the pressure then just enjoy the stay. But for me that presentation ruined the holiday.
@@mdml0 It's true that our mood was not great during 2 hours after the meeting. But once we got in the room, which is very nice, and started enjoying the time there, we were glad we passed the test!
@wheretophuket9295 Lol! I'm happy for you too. The sales manager threatened blacklisting me from future offers when I made it crystal clear I'm not buying and called them out for their aggressive sales tactics. (I got the same offer again in 2021 🙃) They wouldn't even take a hint and let me think about it so I flat out said NO. 😆 The hotel is very good but I've worked in 5-star luxury resorts in Maldives so I've definitely seen better. The Anantara next door had better landscaping and overall design. I wouldn't mind having an apartment in the one we stayed at though just not in a scammy timeshare.
