🧡 Where to STAY/SLEEP with great view in Kata 🧡
A big and popular beach front resort for the price of 50 US Dollars (+/-). How can it be? Check out from this clip.
💥 NOTE 💥 About "Private beach." Even though it's not exactly "private" as non-guests of the hotel can also access to the beach in front of the hotel, but there's difference between beaches in the hotel area, and beaches where there's no surrounded properties that are full of venders.

That room view amazing. Any chance you remember the room number. We looking to book next year. They closed now for renovations.

Stayed here for the sandbox last July. There were just FOUR of us in the hotel for the two weeks. My Thai GF joined me, but the first night we just had to yell at each other across the pool area because she wasn't allowed near me until my negative PCR test results came back (next morning about 8am). Phuket was *awesome* back then (as apposed to the low-rent tourist hellhole it normally is). We had a car and our mountain bikes and had a great time. Cheers Covid - I never would have gone there in 'normal' times.

Hi, thanks for your comment and your story about yelling at each other was so unforgettable. Indeed Covid-19 though had been a disaster but it opened doors to something we would never experience in normal life. I've been in Phuket many times and this is the first time I really fell in love with it. I think you can still come back these days as it's not back to normal yet 😊

@@wheretophuket9295 well we *did* return at Xmastime but only because a Kiwi mate there has a (small) yacht. So we crashed in Kata and spend each day sailing with them. Each to their own, but Phuket is so over-developed and over-touristed. It's like Thailand-lite. Sorry not my cup of tea. There are still some great places in Thailand that suit me better.

Great video and review. I was thinking of coming to this hotel next Christmas with my family. It looks great value. Just wondering about one thing. The water looks very rough. Would you think it might be calmer in December? Thanks 😁

I've got reply from the hotel. They said December is calmer and less rain than mid-year but it's best during Jan-Mar. Hope this is useful.

kata or karon? which hotel is cleaner, better location for shops and restaurants?

Hi, thanks for message. We've not stayed at Karon hotel yet but heard that it's nicer and cleaner. For location, Kata is busier with more shops and restaurants.
