Karen Anne Carpenter had the voice of an angel-pure, soothing, and unmatched. To me, no one else even comes close. Her music touched my soul in a way that no other ever could. She was in a class all her own. Rock in paradise, my sweet angel.
Karen was amazing but so was Richard who was incredibly talented as a composer and arranger of their music. Their music is timeless and Karen was lost far too early. My favourite song was "This Masquerade" its just so beautiful when sung by Karen.
Makes me so sad to hear her voice and know her death was so unnecessary. Her struggles with anorexia may have saved many lives because it wasn’t as known back then. She truly had the voice of an angel. It was hard to read the walls, is she the only person in that mausoleum?
Karen Carpenter. She sang very nice. Thanks for your songs. Rest in peace, this great woman. Very sad her departure. We will never forget her. Someday I will go to the United States to visit you.
I never got to say goodbye to you Karen carpenter I grew up with your music thru my brother and sister in law you were a beautiful soul you and your brother Richard will ALLWAYS be part of my life thru your music miss you two hope Richard will make an appearance sometime in the near future 🙏rest in peace Karen 🙏
40 years and 4 days before Burt Bacharach's passing on February 8th, 2023 this angel Karen soared to heaven. Imagine the musical gifts we lost in that time but what heaven's choir gained.
February 4, 2023 today is Karen's 40th Anniversary. It does not seem like 40 years have gone by. Fan since I was a kid in 1970 when I first heard your voice. A voice like no other and a sparkling personality that grabbed me and never let go.Thank You Karen! Love You and really Miss You! Thank You for doing this and posting this!
simply the most beautiful and touching female voice to date. Amazing how this beautiful voice touches the heart and soul. I imagine that angels sing like this... so naturally the voice comes from the soul...
