Just a car guy, who stumbled upon a camera working on the driveway. 😉 If you can relate with my videos or if they brought you new information, subscribe to my channel. 😎 And don't forget the likes 👍🏾
What exactly do you mean? Changing the light color on the radio itself? 🤔 If that's what you mean I haven't a clue. I didn't even think of looking for that option. So I don't know if it's possible..
Well done, you got there in the end! I have similar problem will be changing o/s rear sensor first of all, n/s/r went last year. However thanks to your very good vid I now know how change the ABS bearing. Keep up the good work Semedo!
Is that a serious question? 🤔 🤣 I will definitely modify it to suit my taste.. If you check the previous video where I revealed the car I did mention that I will modify it. Go check it out. 🤙🏾
Great vid. Spent ages trying to work this out using the instructions, wasn’t getting anywhere. Then I found your vid and I had the job done in minutes. Thanks for taking the time to make it. Thank you🎉
But as seen factory wheel on itself wouldn't work without the correct module. And I'm more into OEM plus when it comes to interior than modifying. And Mrs wouldn't like a momo wheel any way..
Is there much difference in sound quality? Wanting to upgrade as I'm having to use an FM transmitter for my music with that old stereo but not sure if these budget stereos also enhance sound quality?
The radio does actually sound good and you can fine tune it with Equalizer.. But rádio reception on the golf was never good since I bought it.. That was one of the reasons to upgrade the radio for the Mrs to connect her phone to it..
True.. But this time because of the way the fault was described really led me to believe the bearing had failed and I completely ignored my rule of replacing the cheapest or easiest part first...
Maybe it was cuz i was in a rush or I'm stupid, i couldn't wrap my head around the thule instructions. Thank you for your easy to understand instructions, you made it look so much simpler.
I've heard of people going as low as 25mm. Its a matter of trial and error, because any value that you input that's out of range, meaning going too low, that value won't be accepted. Just don't forget that going lower than 17mm will require a wheel alignment to prevent premature tyre wear.
Hello mate , nice video , gotna question , when i turn on ignition it saya mfsw does that mean my steering nldule is for multifunctuon allready ? Even tho the car came with with a standard steering wheel on, not sure if the previous owner changed it about 😅
It could be.. I really don't know about that. Steering wheel could've been changed or module could not be coded correctly.. Only war to know for sure is plugging it in and check what coding it has..
Thanks man.. I'm glad you actually mentioned it because I completely forgot to give an update.. I went and double checked the coding and realised I had coded it wrong. Now I don't remember what exactly was wrong with the coding. But upon changing to the right coding the menu button does work and it cycles through the different screens and gives a list of other sub menus you can change using steering wheel instead of plugging the car in all the time to do it..
You'll need the switch with fog light option to be able to turn it on or off.. You can check my video from when I installed it.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YM0I5t2uwhY.html
So.. As I mentioned in the video I didn't want to keep going back talking about glow plugs. Although I found a damaged wire I still got the code again. But it was my fault. After hours searching the Web I found out some golfs have a 7V system and therefore you need 7V glow plugs. The ones I had bought were only 4V and that was one of the reasons it kept coming back.. After founding this out replaced the glow plugs once again for 7V glow plugs ans car has been fault free since then.. 🤞🏾 The code you're having is directly related to the harness. So I believe your problem will be resolved with a new harness.. Hope this LONG reply helps. 😎
I just replaced mine after breaking 4 3/8 sockets. I had to get Capri Tools 30056 XZN 18mm Triple Square Bit Socket with Tamper Proof, 1/2-Inch which did the job in no time. once i had it, it took me about an hour to do both.
I think the plugs cost me between 30 and 40 quid. As for labour I think would depend on the garage hourly rate.. It took me more or less an hour while filming to get it done. So they would definitely be able to do it inside of an hour.
Hi buddy.. If I can help if course I will.. I'm in Portadown NI. All that is doable even you lower s bit more. Mine had 23mm spacers and u lower it 15mm. Drop me a message on Instagram if you need my help..
@@_LuisS Hi bro thank you for the message I will drop you a message soon. As the car is going into Wheel Mania on Tuesday to see if they can get me the Vossen HF-2 wheel in deep concaves 10.5x21 front and 13x21 rear or 10.5x22 front and 13x22 rear if I can confirm it’s the AS7 I can confirm it’s the AS7 kit on my car its the Audi Q7 4LB 2015 30TDI Sports Edition I would have come to see you to see your Audi Q7 but you are far away in Northern Ireland I do not want to use drop links on my car want it natural but if I can get the fitments I want with out using spacers then I will but last resort my bro. Thank you my G for the reply back will be in touch soon.🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍
@gsingh2294 I live concave wheels.. I'm sure it will look amazing.. I don't own the Q7 anymore. Sometimes I still see it as I sold it locally. Hit the fb groups. You might find someone close to you willing to help as well..
Hello i i have mk5 change module under steering wheel which end with AG from highline change clock spring witc C mark, also put steering wheel with mult func butons, everthyng work but cruise control dont work jn measuring block everthyng work but dont show on dash and error implausible signal error code any advice thanks
Double check coding. Being that the module never been on your car go through the entire process of coding cruise control.. That means going into engine and enabling it first before coding the module itself. Also clear all fault codes because you'll have a couple from replacing the module and it not working at the moment.. I think that will make it work again..
I would probably focus on the radio.. I think it would be the problem.. With it being used you can never know what was done to it.. Try find out if fuse on the radio (of it has one) hasdeen changed before and it's causing this..
Hey! i bought the exact same radio and have the same problem with it not turning completly off when i turn off the car. Do you have the same problem? @_LouisS?
@chriskristoffersen5532 so you're radio only turns off manually? I never encountered this problem. Did you already had a different type of aftermarket head unit? Were the wires messed with in any way? If you never had another head unit fitted I'd suggest getting in touch with the supplier for further assistance..
The factory fitted hose clips ,I replace them with Jubilee clips, the better ones bolt tighteners and you should be able to get most sizes at most auto shops. A tip for heat shield ,put a longer bolt in with a nut fully backed off to the bolt head ,then tighten the bolt to the required turns using the nut to lock down the heat shield. It will give you enough movement on the shield without having to remove completely.their 3 in total to replace
That's actually a good idea.. I didn't even think of it. Jubilee clips are way easier to work with. ☺ As for the heat shield just bending the corner gave me enough space to reach the intended screw. Then I just bent it back into its normal shape. 👍🏾
@@_LuisS glad it helped, a word of warning with Zafira's don't ever buy one with the EGR valve built into the cooler housing they are a nightmare to find if you need to replace, new they cost around £500.00 2nd hand they are rare and normally come from Latvia.they should have named this model "Za nightmare" lol. They don' even come come with a temperature. gauge.
Hey man, I’ve got a mk5 golf GTI 2006 I’ve got the steering wheel with the correct air bag. I’m now stuck on the steering wheel control module. Which one is the correct one for my car ? Can you please advise me 😅
That will depend on your current module part number. You'll have to get a highline module, but there's different versions. Depending on your current part number I'll know which one you would need. If you scan it let me know the part number and I'll be able to help. Or shoot me a message on Instagram and I'll send you the list with all part numbers for the modules. 😉
@@_LuisS okay brilliant, thank you for all of your help! I’m taking the steering wheel off within the next few days to replace it with a new one so I will pop the module out and post the part number on here 😁
@@_LuisS Hey! Appreciate the video, helped me a lot! I changed my steering wheel to multifunctional one and I have the same issue with angle sensor calibration... It's been three days and still didn't calibrated 😢 I tried calibrating using Delphi program, but it's not working... Just bought a vcds cable so wish me luck! 😕
@michalxxo7462 it's a very complicated process.. I took me a lot of tries before I actually got it.. That's why I stop recording because I was getting fed up with it. I made sure I mention that it was very tricky to get it calibrated.. I think I followed the instructions on this website. wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/VW_Golf_(1K)_Steering_Assist I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THIS INSTRUCTION TO A T. SKIPPING ANY STEP WILL RESULT IN A FAILED ATTEMPT.. DO EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS THERE. TOOK ME 3 TRIES AFTER I FOUND THIS TO GET IT DONE.
Launch control is when you set the car up for a quick acceleration from stand still.. Best way to understand it is looking up for videos. Soon as you see it you'll understand what is it.
After reading the instructions and doing the flip on mine I just want to point out that the strap should be also flipped on the other end so the direction of the strap is right. Just minor detail i noticed
@@_LuisS on your video you are flipping the strap mechanism but on the same end of the rack. I meant to say the instructions recommend to put the strap mechanism on the other end when flipping the bar
