Yes indeed! We pressured through during the rehearsals the days before since it was simply too easy to be overpowered in that beautiful hall. So while I was shredding the concerto for about six hours in two days before the first performance, the inevitable happened.

Your techniques are amazing! Meanwhile I am still working on the big chords and adjust my hands to reduce buzzings, damn I hope one day I can get to your speed without any noise that page. Anyways, thats a really nice interpretation!
@hartobanuharp
@hartobanuharp 4 года назад
Thank you so much! I'm so happy to see this recording still attracts some listeners and seems to inspire them! One tip from Isabelle Moretti: "To avoid buzzes you have to learn to listen first." Every change of position, speed, preparation or imagination will affect noises. Work with your ears in the same way you work with your fingers. That way you will learn to avoid noises even before they happen. At the same time: don't be too stressed out about them. Relax and let the harp sing. And ask it politely when to fall back into the strings. It will happily show it to you.

I am so glad you are making videos again! I love your new harp - very full sound with a lively middle and strong treble. Congratulations. NO ONE can play this piece!!!! EXCEPT YOU! The ornaments are clean and clear (with no buzzing!). The best was the middle movement. You bring such energy, passion and depth to that lovely and delicate movement. Makes me weep.
