Thick Girlz Guide is about just that. I am here to represent thick girls on RU-vid and in the world in general. This channel will focus on a few different things, starting with makeup, fashion and subscription boxes. Down the road I plan to add in some lifestyle videos as well, so stay tuned for those. I am straight forward and call it like I see it, so there is no sugar coating things here. If you would like to be a part of the Thick Girl Gang then feel free to subscribe.
These were all cute pieces. I'll definitely check out Ritera.I'm really enjoying your channel. It's nice to have plus size fashion channels to watch. I would have enjoyed seeing the pieces styled with the boots. I live in Texas so I'll be in sandals a while longer myself but part of the fun of watching fashion videos is to see the outifts styled for the season. It gives me ideas so if I need to purchase some pieces I can do that.
Thank you and glad you are enjoying the channel! I will be busting out the boots soon! They are my favorite shoe for the fall/winter season, and I just ordered some on Torrid when they were on sale!
Thank you so much for this video! I am such an over-packer and I was struggling to figure out what to take on a trip to Vegas. This was so, so, so helpful! Love you!
As always you look so beautiful! I understand your saying that you could have gone smaller in the red print tank but I like it like that. It doesn’t look too big and it is flowy and feminine really pretty. And the top tucked into the skirt is SO cute of an outfit! I tuck everything for emotional comfort but you always look so beautiful both ways you are one of the ladies making me want to get over that and wear some tops out. ❤
It felt a bit big on but watching it back it looks great. I did end up keeping it! I really enjoyed the skirt outfit too and don't be afraid to try some new ways of styling, just play around with it. That's what makes fashion fun
@@ThickGirlzGuide Thank you sweetie! It’s an emotional thing as untucked takes me back in my mind to being ashamed and I feel like I’m hiding my body again even though I’m not. I’m slowly getting over it. My friends are very encouraging but they think my tucked in style is more me.
I am staying at a friend's house for 2 weeks. I do travel with towels. She recycles towels for every shower. I use the towel once and then wash it. So as a good guest, I bring 3 so I can shower and not increase her wash loads. When I wash my clothes, I'll wash my towels. 🙂
It's important to be considerate and be a good house guest. If you're flying 3 towels takes up a lot of space though, if driving then it's not a big deal.
@@ThickGirlzGuide They are the micro towels. They suck up a lot of water but not a lot of room. If you can, it is off-topic. Where on Amazon did you find your camis? I don't remember which video you mentioned them Thanks! 🙂
I ordered a dress, and it seems they only go to size 22. I hope it fits. You and i wear the same size at Torrid. If it doesn't work. It was only 15 dollars. Their bling is fun. I bought 4:12 some sw0eater chains and brooches. I brought so many sunglasses from them. ❤
Nice! Most of the size 22 stuff works for me so hopefully it works out for you too. They have such fun bling/jewelry pieces for amazing prices and don't even get me started on the sunglasses! Lol I hope you love everything you got!
@@ThickGirlzGuide, I'll let you know when it comes this week. If it doesn't work I have a dress on stand-by on Amazon. I am becoming a shoe junkie in Temu and I hate shoes! I prefer bare feet, but there are many cute ones that I am obsessed with! 🙂
I discovered Torrid's "Harper" tops last year and they are now my absolute favorite tops for work. Comfy, but still look great with dress pants for the office, both in the georgette and the challis. I have about 8 of them now and will definitely be buying more.
Always stay under the weight with luggage, even if the scale is accurate. Once I was traveling home from vacation, and made a stop over for a day to visit family. When I left my destination, my luggage was under weight by a pound or two. At my stop over, I took a few things out (I added nothing back in). Got back to the airport and they told me my luggage was overweight. Idk if they were lying or their scales vary, but I was so upset. Stay underweight as much as possible.
Oh no! I do try to keep it a bit under for this exact reason. I will say my luggage scale hasn't failed me yet but that's a good rule for travel in general.
I will try to see if I can squeeze it in. I will be traveling for the first 2 weeks of October so I don't know if I will be able to get it done in time for Halloween.
I don't know any influencers I follow, who would think to do costuming for Halloween, it was just a brainstorm of mine. Not to worry or think twice about.
I wish I had seen this before I packed for my 7 day trip …. Using my 29 inch suitcase and a large shopping bag with my big feet shoes….we were driving so I just overpacked and didn’t really care…..
It's so easy to over pack, which i have done a lot too lol. I am trying to learn how to minimize and only bring things I know I need and will wear but it's a hard habit to break.
My favorite place has been Puerto Vallarta Mexico. However, keep in mind, although I’m 61, I’ve only traveled to one Country outside of the U.S. It has always been my biggest dream to travel and see the world. So I’m thinking of solo traveling. It seems it will be the only way I can travel, and I don’t have much time left! 🤗
I loved Puerto Vallarta, it's a super fun place! You should look into solo travel group trips. That might be a way to travel solo where it's not so intimidating.
