From all the videos and forums I see, it turns out Winnabego, particularely the 2100BH, is complete shit. I think all the owners should file a lawsuite and get every penny Winnabego has and shut them down.
Nice video. I thought I was done de-winterizing. Did you find out the o-ring was missing by the leak or did you physically see it fly out when you push the white button? I had a funny thing happen to me. When I filled my freshwater tank and pressurized my system my freshwater filter canister was leaking where it screws in the housing. Couldn't get anyone to come out and couldn't find replacement o-ring until I happen to look on the ground underneath my trailer. I don't know how it got down there but it fit perfectly. Maybe in the course of winterizing we dumped water underneath the camper or it was a gift from God on a Sunday!
Whysl is it necessary to use antifreeze in the water lines when you are gonna be drinking g from them ...couldn't you just drain all water in the winter .... I'm very confused on the purpose and benefit of using toxic chemicals to keep.my lines from freezing when I can simply not let water sit in it ?!?!? Not trying to be an ass hat genuinely want to know I'm a first time minnie winnie owner wondering wtf this video is showing me and why
I found your video very very helpful up until the last part where you say you blew the o-ring. Please take this video down and redo it telling us newbies how to do it the right way. I don't know if I blew out the o-ring or not but I will follow your other video to fix it if I did. Other than that I thought your video was excellent
I like that Winnebago did not put ‘stuff’ such as storage shelves, paper holders, mirrors, etc. in the finish of the trailer. We put storage shelves, units, hangers where they would work for our life style, rather camping style. The blank trailer gives you so much versatility in decorating, and creating storage that works for individual owners. Use command hooks and boxes all over. Amazon sells many clear types of storage boxes/containers which adhere to the walls. We put a mirror on outside of bath door so hubby can shave at kitchen sink with ease. Using command hooks on wall at bunk and wall at top of fridge, hang curtain (we use shower curtain since it has holes, folded in half lengthwise) to create privacy when sleeping in bunk and for creating extra room when dressing. Use small plastic tub that fits in part of sink for washing dishes or body, shaving, etc., then throw out on grass or trees to avoid filling gray tank. Of course, use environmentally friendly soap & wipe grease out with paper. We like our trailer and enjoy our time with it.
Very similar to the Micro Minnie 1700BH. Drain valves and water heater bypass are under front bench for table. From there reach up under the bed for the drain valves. Pump is behind screw-on panel under the sink. I would add that you should remove the shower head/hose, sink aerator, and outside shower head. I am not sure why, but I had a lot of minerals break loose and clog them half way through winterizing. This is also a good opportunity to clean them each year. Two gallons were plenty for the 1700BH. Thank you for the video... best one out there!
Great video! I pick up a Micro Minnie and an e2 in a few weeks. Do you find that the e2 makes backing up difficult? Does it make a lot of noise when backing up?
Question: is the purpose of the check valve only to prevent water coming out when using the on-board water? I've been looking for the check valve that prevent the fresh tank from filling while on city water. Mine stuck a couple of time and I think it may be wearing out.
Literally the only video of its kind I found on YT. It was exactly what happened to me. I feared it was more than just this easy fix as it was absolutely dumping/spraying water inside my trailer and dumping out the bottom. My o-ring was still on but it was askew on the spring and the end wasn't seating right. Thank you :^)))))))))))))))))))
Thanks so much for posting this. We purchased a Winnebago Minnie this summer. This is our fourth travel trailer and we have never used a siphon hose before. The winterizing instructions in our manual never even mentioned it. With your detailed video we were able to complete this task very easily. Thank you for posting.
Could you update this video to turn off the water pump before doing city water release? I’ve blown out the o-ring two years in a row following this now. I forget and then watch your other video about how to fix the o-ring.
Hello Chadwick family. Just wondering if you are completely done making videos? I really enjoyed them and miss them. You all take care. Thank you for the ones you made. Safe travels
