Marvel vs Capcom collection is so cool, mvc2 was one of my fav games as a kid on ps2 and playing it at the mall and getting to try some of the older ones i missed like the X-Men and punisher games will be really fun too
i got one of these and it has an issue where the right trigger thinks it's on turbo mode constantly repeatedly pressing that which makes it unusable for almost anything including just navigating the Xbox menus now and i can't figure out why it's doing that
I've recently been watching your videos and I love them! I'm here with a question about controllers for PC - I'm on budget right now and I've stopped on two: "Hori Horipad Pro" and "8BitDo Ultimate Wired, Hall Effect Edition" and I don't know wich one would be a better choice. There aren't many controllers on sites from my country and Amazon is not a choice for me sadly I hope you would take time to help me out, ty
I'm glad you enjoy the channel. I appreciate it. As for the choice between 8bitdo and Hori, I'd go with 8bitdo. I've covered a number of both of their controllers and Hori always seems to be missing features. 8bitdo, especially with hall effect, is hard to beat. They really are the some of the the best controllers on the market.
The Stupidity of some of these Retards continuing to say Xbox doesn’t want you to Buy an XBOX Console just because they’re bringing their games on a Firestick for the Casual Gamers that will never buy a console, this is intended as a way to bring the super casual gamers into the Xbox ecosystem not console gamers, the stupidity is unreal
Membrane buttons aren't a drawback if you're buying a controller for a long run or intense gameplay like fighting games or simply prefer OG membrane buttons. Chance that membrane button will be completely broken is close to 0% for years, at this moment you'll have another controller, or you can got a spare rubber pad for like a couple of bucks and fix it in 5 minutes with nothing but screwdriver. Mechanical buttons on the other hand are unpredictable, and once it's done, it's done - it's either nothing or double-click, both a game breaking failures, and you can't fix it without advanced soldering skills and ordering the same unit.
Both Vader 3 Pro and Apex 4 have a serious issues with sticks and pretty crappy batteries, but if you're lucky and prefer Xbox style controller, then yeah, Flydigi controllers are probably the best choice at this point. I hope they're gonna fix sticks problem in Vader 4 Pro, I'm 100% buying it then.
Do you guys know if you can make the whole controller go dark while you're using the Apex 4 (or their other controllers like the Vader 3, maybe)? (I play games in the dark a lot, and even the Xbox Series S/X "core controller" middle button light drives me nuts, where I have to put dark tape over it, so RGB and screens in controllers always worry me)
I believe the Vader line in general does not have a screen. The Vader 4 does not seem to have one. While I love the Apex 4 my eyes are old, and the screen is too small. If only they could Manba size that screen, I might declare Apex 4 hall of fame. (I love the Steam Controller and wish that Valve would get on that and get the next one out). What kills the Manba for me is the cutouts on the buttons. I chewed my thumb up in games that require button mashing. Such a letdown. I hope they fix that for a Manba 2.
Very cool video! Is there any major differences between the new ultimate and the wireless version? Im deciding on which one to get and it seems like this controller has everything the wireless one has (besides the back buttons and.. it being wireless). Which one should I pick up? Im always in need of a second opinion so thanks!
The 3-Mode wireless controller is only wireless for PC and Android. It's still wired for Xbox. If you're looking to use it only on Xbox, I would suggest the C over the 3-Mode.
@RedBandanaGaming aw dang! I wish the wireless version was actually wireless on the xbox. Thanks for the reply, good sir! I will definitely buy the ultimate c, those lights look too cool!
The fact that xbox still use AA batteries in their controllers baffle me. I just got a series s last week and wanted a sperate controller that i can actually recharge without having to buy a battery pack or rechargeable batteries. Your video helped a lot because now i know that wired is the way to go (even tho its 2024 not 2004 but ill put my ignorance aside🥲😅) ill check out some of the controllers you mentioned
Microsoft still uses AA batteries to make it easier to replace. If a battery dies in a controller with a built in battery and can no longer charge, it becomes a big pain to replace those batteries. With as many controllers Xbox releases it makes them usable for a much longer period of time.
@@RedBandanaGaming I understand that but I've had playstation controllers controllers that still haven't came into battery problems where the battery doesn't take charge anymore. Maybe the port gave trouble here and there but that's only if you don't take care of your controllers. So it's preventing something that not very likely to happen. I'm not trying to be a hater or anything but having to spend extra money on a battery pack and rechargeable batteries or just going plug and play is a huge negative for the Xbox
The dpad is the same as every dpad on every 8bitdo controller and I've tested many on the Xbox and Switch. It's a given by now that it's the best dpad.
I've been seing this controller for a lot of time but i didn't know that has a New version with hall effect sticks thats awesome and for me i prefer the playstation controller but console xbox Great review 🎉
I have one and it's totally worth the price, not being able to glow isn't a big deal. There are ones you can buy that have neon lights on it if it means that much to you but it's just going to drain the battery faster.
The glowing is the entire point of the controller. It's the entire gimmick and selling point. If you don't care about the glow, you can buy the same controller for less without the art and gimmick.
@@RedBandanaGaming I bought it because it's the most reliable controller next to the original Pro for half the price, and it has the 40-hour charge time and back paddles. It's an incredible deal, couldn't care less about the glow-in-the-dark, I don't even game or watch TV in the dark that's not even good for your eyes. The cool graphics are is also worth it. If you go buying a cheaper version you're probably going to get a cheaper version and that's not in a good way.
I hope Nintendo copies the faceplate of the controllers with the switch 2, love Xbox design lab and the faceplates of Sony. Nintendo needs to get into the customization game.
