Probably one of the best renditions to date. My only critique however is that the saxophone in the front half is barely audible compared to the other instruments until 1:52 . Shame there isn't a new Peggle game for me to swap the fever music with this. Can't wait for the NBA on NBC to return (with also a new version of Headclobbers?). Thanks again John!
Lord I'm not claiming this disease and infection it's not mine to have so im believing it's gone from now I am healed and healthy I thank you in Jesus mighty name Amen 🙏
Growing up I always knew John Tesh for being a co-host on Entertainment Tonight, a great piece of my childhood. I also knew he was a musician but had no idea he composed one of the most iconic songs in sports history.
Hi @vicsville760, for some reason I can't place my own comment, but I can reply to someone's comment 🤔 so thank you!😊 I totally agree with you and I've been listening to John Tesh's music for 30+ years!🥰
When I hear this for the first time coming back on I will be crying a waterfall knowing my childhood days of watching Michael Jordan dominate every year in playoffs and the nba finals I can’t help but impatiently wait this masterpiece back. Please no mainstreaming it no messing it up no technical no hip hop no pop don’t mess it up please.
I innocently played the John Tesch Greatest hits CD that I bought for $1 at Salvation Army Thrift Store and I was suddenly transported back in time to when Egyptian slaves built the pyramids. I hung around and ate the gruel and dirty water that was on the construction site and tried to blend in Until I violently woke up again in my bed in the present day after the last cymbal crashes on ‘Roundball Rock’…Quite the Rush.🙏🔥
its up to each indivdual. i once went to drs but that was before i witnessed first hand the greed and harm caused from the medical world, you tend to lose confidence which many of us are today. not everyone has the finaces or the best insurance policies to cater to whatever tests the drs request. we have become adjusted to pills, potions and lotions. To many other options atent always a hood thing. again im speaking for myself since again my family is going through yet more damages due to the so called professionals.
I saw John perform his Avalon concert in Spokane Washington when he went in tour just after I watched this concert on PBS. I was mesmerized by the TV show. My wife had gone away for a girls camp for our church and I heard about the concert on the radio-a jazz/new age station-and immediately went to buy tickets. I asked how much front row seats were, and bought ones as close as were available for $38.00! I was on the right side of the stage with nothing in front of me! Best money I had ever spent on myself! But, during the concert, he started playing some of his romantic songs and suggested we all find someone next to us to get close to. I sat there, alone and wishing my wife had been able to come along. The concert was everything I had seen on the TV and more! The musicians!-Superb! The sound!-Spectacular! The showmanship!-Unmatched! Everything was magical! He and several others at one point were playing on portable, microphoned instruments. They disappeared, but you could hear them. They had gotten in the elevator and went up to the highest balcony to do a mini concert for the people in the cheap seats! That’s just the kind of guy John is! As a teenager, I had gone with my folks to see John Denver twice when he came to Spokane. Everyone was singing his songs with him and it was a memorable, Spirit-filled concert. Though John Tesh’s concert had very little signing, that same Spirit was present, and I thrilled at having the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see this complete concert, live. I will never forget it. Thanks, John!
