If you want to make 10 pounds of boost on 1 turbo it takes longer to spool up than 2 turbos would but 2 turbos is also more expensive both to buy and maintain. So twin turbos is arguably better if a little more money isn’t a problem
The twins on n54 cars give alot of issues not even the upgraded twins for these engines last long mostly because the internal wastegates flapper and actuator. Also the seals on them always go. But with the twins you get better low end power and torque just that in higher rpm they die out. The big single will be less active in lower rpms and keep pulling like a freight train in the higher rpms.
If you remove the 5mm bolts holding the parking brake shoes you can undo 2 10mm bolts and 2 18mm bolts then make 1 small cut to remove the dust shield completely.
Procedure is wrong. I made a mistake following this video. This guy is assuming you are parting out your e90 too and if that’s the case the video could be useful but otherwise don’t follow it. I spent more than an hour fixing the mess this video put mi into.
Is it easier to install connected to the throttle body? Never tried it that way. Got code p0171 after installing chargepipe doesnt feel like its sitting all the way
If it’s the BMS Cp, just send it back. I’ve also never installed a TB with the CP still attached, it’s obnoxious to get to even with the CP not attached

Tried to run cables for JB4 and new head unit, realized LCI e90s are way nicer than pre LCI and all the holes and stuff in the cabin are blocked off. Now im looking for videos with alternatives 😂
