Yeah a good mix would be about 20ish minutes for a cut of a session depending on how much stuff happens. A lot can be condensed but thats a good time frame personally
Bless you for running a 9 player ck3 campaign. I've run one with just my girlfriend and even with 2 people you gotta -async,restart, debug, backtrack and pray to paradox to have a save file stay alive
This is some awesome video I just randomly found while searching for CK3 vids - wow, I am actually surprised by the quality of this video. Such a small channel but such high editing qualities. Generally, it's an awesome vid. - Thank you!
Great episode! Was super excited to see everyone's progress and your editing made it super easy to follow along both with who was talking and the game-state. The music was a great addition too. Hope to see more!
does anyone know how to share the mod which is created by the converter with other people would greatly appreciate if anyone responded i have no clue how to share the converted game and make it work in eu4
I know the playthrough was all the way into Vic 2 from what was said around the Christmas stream. I'd like to see the rest of what's been done so far, like I'm even willing to edit this
If you want to know what happened with the campaign, read below: I wasn't present for EU4, but it basically ended with a big war between Russia and Poland + Rome, which kind of ended as a stalemate before Vic 2 (long story). Austria also got whittled down a lot more leading up to Vic 2, and a series of 'buffer states' under Poland's influence were created in Central Europe, isolating what remained of Austria mostly in the France area. Rome also turned Bavaria into a sort of puppet state. Going into Vic 2, Britain was in shambles because of Will (lmao) and became AI controlled, and Kai joined as America. I joined back as Austria for Vic 2, and my goal was to get back the lands taken by Poland and Rome, and reunite as Germany. Spain was weakened in Vic 2, and started to crumble to rebellions while trying to hold onto a lot of its overseas colonies. There was also a big kerfuffle between America and Spain over colonies that I don't remember the details of. I opened negotiations with Poland for the return of the Austrian buffer states, but this got nowhere. I decided I would have to fight Poland for the buffer states, and allied with Russia to do so, as well as America (but they didn't end up doing anything). Poland was mainly allied with Scandinavia and the buffer states, and secretly with Rome. (Rome and Russia were both global super powers at this point btw). When the war started, I immediately started pushing into Central Europe, winning some difficult battles against the buffer states. However, Rome then joined, catching everyone off guard and forcing me to redirect half of my forces south to hold them off. This basically killed my push into Central Europe. I was eventually outnumbered 3:1 over two fronts, and beaten back to a small pocket in the Alps, where I held out for the rest of the campaign inflicting heavy losses. Meanwhile, Russia had seen initial success pushing into Poland, but when Rome joined the situation stabilized, and there was some back and forth on the eastern front. After this, the campaign was unfortunately cut short around the 1880s iirc. I hope this gives some closure for the mega campaign, we all had fun with it, mostly during CK3. Most of us agree that the rivalry between me and Kai in CK3 was the best part of the campaign overall.
Why are all the grand campaigners stopping their videos this year. I understand the school though man. Im doing full time school and full time work. Burning out monthly at this point. Stay healthy
Maybe I haven’t been looking too hard but this has been some of the best paradox multiplayer I’ve seen that isn’t one of the big guys. Too bad about the situation going into EU4 but I’ll stuck around.
All the PDX games are completely different beasts, so I completely get it (plus the beginner onboarding/tutorials in some are horrendous, looking at you HOI). CK's dynastic focus makes it the most appealing to me. Although concepts such as the megacampaign and newbie confusion is fun, really just play what you enjoy. If you're having a good time playing and editing, then it will come across in the videos.
I remember first Wessex playthrough I ever played I realised Alfred had way better stats than Aethelred and I immediately killed myself in order to play as him 😂😂😂
I showed CK3 to my best friend and proceeded to explain the game to him as best I could. Luckily he was kinda into it and I watched him play for like 6 hours. Then I joined his game later in the week and we played multiplayer. It was so much fun. Makes me wish I had a group of friends into map games.
Fighting Austria who has 5% and 1 whole more morale than you? No wonder you were losing for a while.. That’s a MASSIVE quality difference. But you got this, I have faith!
