Keep up the mega campaign bro, you’ve got this regardless of dynamic change or any garbage that messes with video production or gameplay. Loving the content.
Oh boy I cannot wait to see you guys fight some big ass nations in America. the way you say it looks like they're going to be like some bosses or mini bosses to get to colonization n stuff, good lore coming tbh
It’s definitely tough when a group can’t wholly stay together for a long haul season ,, but keep making videos!! Maybe a series yall could do is taking over different parts of the CK3 map? Or wholly get to the end date? Either way, I’ll be watching!
From my point of iew the biggest problem you guys did is blobbing out. I know it's common to just WC through the game, but with Mega Campaign you also have to think of what are you going to do in the next game. Which also leads to the problem with people that know nothing of other PDX games or busy and etc. While I do recognize that the CK3 part was fun, but it was clearly made as a usual run of CK3 without thinking of what they will do in the next game, resulting in blobbing. Mega Campaign has unwritten rules during the games themselves that people can also add with their own house rules. Common rules are: CK part: Dont expand beyond de jure territories of the Empire rank title or for less lucky - control at least two de jure Kingdom territories. So for example the player on Kyiv, his end goals would be either cotrol de jure Russia or control both Ruthenia and Zaporozhia. EU4 part: That's the game where you begin blobbing out and make colonies, but of cource no WC in mind. Vic part: FOrge political and economical situation in preparation for HOI4 part HOI4 part: Either WC, either one Alliance controls 90+% of the World. Or if neither, the Alliance that has the most land wins. THe reasons behind such goals are simple: To walk the general direction the world had. Aka create your own lore of the World, or in other word - RP. And min maxing is a direct opposite of the RP and lore creation. And I love Mega Campaign exactly because of RP lore creation stuff, not for someone to have a bigger number than the other. But yet again, I still enjoyed CK part and I actually wanna know what will be in EU4, despite the changes. And it will be actually interesting to see how AI will handle what players had built. So, I dunno how you feel about this series or if you're gonna make another one in the future, so here's couple of advises for the new one (again, if yu'll ever will make more): 1. Gather players that WILL play through all games, whether they know how to play it or not, but if they are willing, then it is good. Of cource, some random events will still happen to any person, so this will be unavoidabl problem. 2. Pick parts of the world that is not only in Europe. Seeing a Siberian, Turkic, West African or Indian powers rise would make interesting political landscapes that definitely will make an impact in the next games. 3. If someone would wanna switch to another nation or colony in games starting with EU4,then let them. Like a player would not be interested in playing Europe anymore, he can safely go to like Japan or Indonesia or even Americas, just need discussions about it. 4. Forget about min-maxing, embrace RPing. But of cource, RP can also be fun and memey, nobody asks you to be an actor that plays only serious roles. In any case, will wait for the next vids.
If you ever redo the whole mage campaign you could get viewers involved to help make tension. When you don’t know the other player irl sometimes it makes for interesting interactions.
Always sucks when schedules can’t line up but I’ll still watch regardless of game or who is or isn’t there. Hope you guys can finish the mega campaign strong but I also hope to see more of ck3 multiplayer shenanigans
All the PDX games are completely different beasts, so I completely get it (plus the beginner onboarding/tutorials in some are horrendous, looking at you HOI). CK's dynastic focus makes it the most appealing to me. Although concepts such as the megacampaign and newbie confusion is fun, really just play what you enjoy. If you're having a good time playing and editing, then it will come across in the videos.
Maybe I haven’t been looking too hard but this has been some of the best paradox multiplayer I’ve seen that isn’t one of the big guys. Too bad about the situation going into EU4 but I’ll stuck around.
players can not assassinate eachother (or their heirs) or entirely destroy eachother, they can bring them down to like one county then make them a vassal
It just appeared on my main page. I'll subscribe just to spite Jesse, and I shall never return here. Wish you great YT career, don't get too spoiled after becoming famous!
