@@jarrettwoodward2585 thanks man! So, it's not actually a pump, it's an accumulator. It has a bladder in it filled with air which helps keep constant pressure on the line so the pump doesn't cycle so often. They're commonly used in RV water systems where everflo type pumps are used. You can find Info by looking up RV water systems! Hope that helps!
@@imuruncle27 😂😂😂 or "how to criticize from afar" you weren't there bro. I rinse twice. I video bits and pieces because no one wants to see the WHOLE process. Analytics tell me that 🤷🤦
I started with a 3 gallon pump up sprayer and a water hose my 1st year, then I went to a 14 gal tank on a dolly with a 12 volt pump and a battery mounted on the back of the dolly, and 50' of hose for couple of years. I did the pressure wash low pressure nozzle and chemical injector, then hi presser nozzle thing for a couple of years. Then started using a 12 volt 7 gpm fat boy pump to apply chemical, and rinsed with the pressure washer for couple of years. Now I use an 11 gpm 580 psi comet pump on a 6.5 hp engine for softwashing. The pressure washer is separate; however, the water supply runs to my freshwater tank and Y's to a Hudson valve and continues on to the pressure washer's intake. I have valve that I can close to keep all water going to my freshwater tank if I want. The soap/bleach mix comes from a chemicl tank and goes through an electric valve with remote switch so I can rinse on the fly and has a 3 way valve that I can use to flush the chemical out of the electric valve when I'm done, after the electric valve there's a proportioning valve to control my % of chemical. After using the dedicated softwash pump I'll never go back to any of the other systems. It puts out more chemical, rinses quicker, saves me a lot of hose dragging. I don't know how I ever did it the other ways.
Nice job. I am in the North Ga area and just came across your channel. I’m currently looking into side hustles and haven’t really settled on anything yet. Keep Growing every day
i just started house washing....i did my house, a client of mine because i do landscaping and my mom house.....my gun always explodes with pressure when i hit the trigger....is there a gun that has a trigger i can feather lightly? im using the M5 xjet currently till i upgrade my pressure washer next week...then im going to start down streaming.
I get it’s a contract and they’re not paying the best - but if you’re not going to do the best you can why not just let the contract go - you ranted about what your not getting paid to do - just don’t do it then
@@STELLARMIGHTY you missed the point. I ranted about what I wasn't getting paid for, and then proceeded to do it. It's about going above and beyond the expectations you set. They are expecting a crap job and want to pay bottom dollar, and I take that into consideration, not WAY overextending myself, BUT- I do the best job that the job can take. Basically, the house will be as absolutely clean as it can be when I leave. Most of those homes are really damaged etc, so there's only so much you can do 🤷
@@STELLARMIGHTY I probably could've clarified that better and worded it better, but ya gotta cut me a break bro, I'm new to the RU-vid thing 😂. I don't leave a house I'm not 110% satisfied with.
I did the exact same thing the house was a little bit further out than I like to drive for just a quote literally quoted it for $600 to and it was right on the water with docks ended up taking me 7 hours to wash with an 8 gallon a minute add a Flo pro the key is punch the address in on Google good chance it was listed with a realty company at one point and they left the photos up I do it all the time but I'm located in Austin Texas
How do you get contracts or work I'm thinking about starting in my small town your inspiring me to do it even more. The reason being is i like the idea of working for myself and not having a boss.
@@nathanielbarbaran1950 best advice is to just start! Whatever you do in life, you can figure it out along the way. Fear of the unknown is the biggest enemy. Stagnancy will paralyze and kill your dreams, so just start!
Do you use a surfactant also? I already have a like new predator 420 and 4.8GPM. I am looking to go double and siemes two 420s. That is in the budget.. a single 8gpm isn’t for awhile. Thanks for your content!
@@brandonhodge0311 I have used different surfactants in the past, but as of now, I don't. It truly isn't necessary unless using it as a marker or for a really steep roof.
@@powershineme okay 10-4 I appreciate the input. I am in my 1st season here in Indiana, gaining traction and quoting some commercial buildings. Really wanting to get hooked up with property manager and 1 or two restaurant cleanings.
@@brandonhodge0311 awesome! I was born in Bloomington and lived there till I was 8. I love Indiana! Hope all goes well for you and you get some big clients!
@@powershineme wow no way! My mom is from Bloomington and her side of the family still lives there including my gparents. I live in the small town of Brazil on east side. I appreciate the kind words
@@brandonhodge0311 small world huh!? I have a lot of family that still live there. I grew up on 11th st, and I used to go to western skateland every weekend. I miss the breadsticks and cheese. It's an Indiana only thing unfortunately 😂 GA doesn't have Pizza X or Avers 😭😭😭
Hey powerShine great video. I love that truck setup. What did you get for that 1st house wash.? I would be at 425 for what I saw. Thanks for the video. I love watching what I love doing. Mental gymnasts. Awesome
Great job! You definitely did the right thing by contacting your customer and renegotiating the cost of the job. You have them a bargain. I would sell that job for $1,900. I like the fact that you pointed out the wasp nest problem. Job well done!!
I clean river houses in north Florida and they are that dirty. I don’t know how they lived like that. I’m not down streaming, I’m using my 12v with a hot mix… not messing around. I google estimates…if job is over 20 miles away. Too many tire kickers to waist my day. 4 years in business and it’s taken this long to get right. Great info brother washer.
What kind of head is that? that thing is cool! i very much enjoyed watching your video. Im just starting out in this field and doing pressure washing on the side. I love being my own boss and setting my own schedule.
@@powershineme oh sorry. i mean like the sprey head you have on your sprayer. looks like you can adjust it to any size you like. i think thats really cool and would love one
