Welcome!! I talk about all kinds of topics! From Comic Books, ComicsGate, Anime, Pop Culture, World News and of course my experience and journey through motherhood! I also do reactions to all kinds of good sh***
I don’t mind the concept but main problem i feel the comic just skip a bit. Like it should be Cato and his Bully in high school that should be the frist issues. It should be him and Bully after Ronald get his spike. He going to found new trick to Bully Cato and is should end with Ronald get to military or juvie
Oh YAY!!!!!!!!!!! THATS AWESOME TO HEAR! I was nervous at first cause i didn't know how cg and some folks would feel about it! Thank you for this great and kind comment!
To be fair Drunk3PO is not like the rest of the FNT crowd. His reviews are usually unbaised and he doesn't make personal attacks on actors like the others do.
Malin is a EVS clone its embarrassing. The only talent in CG is Shane, EVS is melting down with his shit variants get your work done. I hope all you freaks see CG is DC and Marvel comic's.
People like Drunk3PO a lot, and his book is the first chance for Rippa fans to support Rippasend. That’s a pretty powerful foundation, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Jay’s book does more than $500k.
There will be a time when the arguing dust will settle and B.S. thrown to the side, when all creators will do their work, have a positive attitude, network with new friends, and succeed.
What made the splash page of an empty entrance way especially funny to me was that I've seen enough wrestling to know what they were going for, but they completely whiffed it. If you can, please indulge me for a moment: When a main event level wrestling star like the Rock or Stone Cold (or like ol Scary Larry here) is about to make their entrance, there's that moment of anticipation between the audio/visual cue that heralds their arrival (i.e. Stone Cold's glass breaking, Kane's pyro, the lights dimming, etc) and the wrestler actually appearing from behind the curtain to walk down to the ring. Usually the crowd pops when they're alerted to whose coming and cheers/boos even louder when the wrestler actually shows their face. I think that moment of anticipation is what Eric was trying to capture with that splash page, but what he should have done was built up to it with smaller panels. Something like this, I would imagine: - The commentators jibbering like they were when this scene was introduced but they're suddenly cut-off by the opening cue of Shungite's entrance theme. Since comics are a visual medium, show the lights going off and Larry's anvil graphic or w/e on the screen being the arena's only light. Followed by... - Next panel. The announcers are in their booth, shrouded in darkness and staring up at the screen. "Hold the phone! You know what THIS means!" "Business is about to pick up!" - Then maybe that crowd shot of fans holding up their Larry Shungite signs and whatnot, perhaps people rising from their seats with the announcers continuing to build up his arrival in off-panel dialogue captions: "I didn't think we'd see him so soon after last night's war for the title!" "You can't keep a good man down, Other Announcer Guy!" - THEN maybe do a splash page showing Larry Shungite for the first time, only he's actually come THROUGH the door and he's posing like a badass in the entrance way with huge pyro explosions going off behind him and fans on either side of the aisleway completely losing their shit. *TLDR; it's almost like comic book storytelling is sequential or something. Whodathunk it?*
I think one difference is that it will be a formal promotional and fulfillment arrangement. You will get exactly what you pay for, no more, no less. There is less scope for it to turn sour because it is not a favor, and has precise contractual parameters.
Watching the yellow flash comic fail is going to be hilarious. A huge wake up call to the rippatards. It should make over a million dollars but comics made be 3rd parties have already proven to sell less and less.
Jon's pretty logical and objective on this subject but he's insane if he thinks yellow flush is going to make 2.5 million. Kek. It'll make 200k to 700k.
The draw is "hate buying" meaning "stick it to the X, Y and Z!" which pulls people's money out of nowhere. This time YF has hate on mainstream media and hate on CG personalities so it's like a two-fer.
