I honestly did not know the you and I clip was ripped off of this until now. I am currently a hardcore 1D fan and a Larrie but previously I was a more casual fan. You and I is obviously a blatant rip off of this clip not even just Louis jumping off the box but the bit with the umbrellas 1D did that too with objects one was a balloon. Ugh this is just another thing to add to all the bad decisions made for 1D by their management/other people.
The rip-off kinda sucks but both videos - and both songs - are fine. And it's only the fixed frame concept that's "stolen" and I guess it was hyped up thing back i 2013 but now any tiktoker can do that on their phone, nothing to argue about honestly. I'd say grey scenery is the only think that validates the rip-off allegations. This many views are probabley mostly from 1D fans)) no way a channel with under 4K subscribers would get over a million views. So I think Clubfeet has nothing to complain about, they were temporarily put on map, that must've feel nice :)
why are yall disliking this??? im a HUGE fan of 1D, but in this case they (the producers of You and I) are wrong!! Clubfeet's video was released first, so no need for hate guys, tpwk!
Ok, im here after that article (like so many others lol) and honestly please stop attacking each other. Both mvs are great, and even though they are similar, they are not the same. Another artist (i believe it was stray kids) have a very similar video concept as well, but just because it is a big band people are upset. Please, you can express your opinions but stop bashing others and stop being rude.

Just for the record they are both fantastic songs/videos and I don't see that there's a problem, if anything OD did Clubfeet a favour getting this brilliant song noticed.
