People who lived until 2000 probably thought the same way. However, the fact is that some tyrannies can persist for a long time if information control and brainwashing are done effectively. There is also the factor of China and Russia. North Korea is useful to them as a buffer zone separating them from the allies of the USA. They have been supporting the North Korean regime for a long time and will not stop as long as North Korea doesn’t cross a certain line. Overall, the future of North Korean citizens doesn’t seem bright. Rather, it looks darker with each passing second.
