This isnt how Mandela Effect works. This is how Hollywood works yo turn a book into a feature length film that the masses will watch (that means the people who didnt/dont read the book)
No Mandela effect, but Neville was waaayyyy more important in the books. Also, there’s that bit in the first book with the bottles and the fire before they get to the mirror that’s just not in the movie at all.
Movies were trash after chamber of secrets. Heard director of first two was fired cause he wanted to be faithful to the books. Shame, loved the first 2 movies.
I just rewatched the movies over the weekend! I think the headless hunt is featured in a scene but only briefly and I can’t remember which movie (it was brief and like 2 ghosts with one carrying a head while riding a horse). I had never noticed it before!
It’s been soooo long since I read the books I don’t remember a lot I just remember things in the movies making sense…. Either that or I didn’t bother to question it and I barely read the books. Idk anymore because I’ve learned so much just from being part of this fandom I don’t remember if it was read or learned through people…. and if I remember right wasn’t it something having to do with Snape’s parents one was a magical the other was a muggle?
Dude. I feel that you are wrong on that comment. She would not be able to beat him, he may have been emotional and all that, however, she has never held a lightsaber before, never been trained in wielding a sword, and even if you had been trained with a traditional sword, fighting with a lightsaber takes special training since it has no weight.
If you want to actually talk about how it’s different from Luke to ren I will happily tell you how your wrong saying they did the same thing with the two. Because, good sir, you are dead wrong.
I'm with you on this. In the second book, a gnome dressed like cupid knocks over Harry while trying to deliver a poem written by Ginny. This causes Harry's ink bottle to break and stain all of his books. However, Tom Riddle's diary is not stained and that's how Harry finds out to write in the diary. In the movie, he just randomly let's a drop of ink fall of his quill into the book.
Fun Fact: It still breaks canon. Having Ki Adi Mundi even breathing breaks the established lore of his character. Not to mention that even with EVERYTHING being pinned on Sol, there is no way that Yoda, would have not been able to sense the deception. Thats why people are upset, but I get it, you would rather just toss shade at creators you don't like, I can only assume for shallow reasons. Don't be like that...don't continue to be a pawn of LucasFilm...
I think the problem with the Harry Potter movies is that they came out while the books were still being written, so people don't remember what details are from the books and what is from the movies
I agree that they left out a ton of important parts in the movies. But they actually do mention Voldemort's dad being a muggle in the Chamber of Secrets and that's why he didn't keep his "filthy muggle father's name".
I could have sworn there was a scene in the Chamber of Secrets where Harry was in Dumbledore's office and he overheard an argument between Hagrid, Fudge, and Dumbledore.
NO LITERALLY BC I WAS WATCHING THBP WITH MY FRIENDS AND THE WHOLE TIME MY FRIEND WAS LIKE 'who tf is the halfblood prince?" I FR THOUGHT IT WAS COMMON KNOWLEDGE AND REALIZED IT WAS NEVER DISCUSSED. (i then cried for a little bc when we got to snape's memory scene i reaized they also missed out on getting to see young Snape wearing his mother;s blouse)
