My channel is focused on education and information about computers. I like to teach people how to get the most out of their PC and I like to make sure to always have a good credible history of information that I am referencing. I value operformance and efficiency highly and I seek to let people know what are the best brands, products, software, hardware out there. I want to make a lasting impact on this channel. If you have a product or service or some form of way to get users more performance out of their system. I'd love to partner with you and share that content. I am able to fully talk about hardware and software in good explanation.
When mesuring sleep, i get 1.00xxms then a sudden 1.4xxms then back to 1.00xx. what could be causing this? I have a decent hardware. Running win11. I dont understand. Is something interfering or causing these spikes?
Thank You! I use my gamer PC for listening music on a quite good Hi-Fi system. This tweak gives absolute advance, the sound is more precise, lively, realistric now. It dependinds on latency very much! Thank You!
Due to your tutorial simply out of curiosity I went from 890/mbps Down and 930 Up, to 700 on both lol.. Idk how thats supposed to make my network any more usable or better but I surely got the downside of things...
I was just about to comment how thankful I am to you for the video you made, because I tested it and it drastically increased the performance of my DAW (FL Studio), being able to handle more VST's with ease. Sadly I started getting blue screens (WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR) shortly after and had to revert back to 15, which stopped the blue screens. Edit: I figered out the actual caus of the blue screens, which was not the change in the power settings, but something I had changed along with it, so now just thanks a bunch for this video.
This tweak is so good that process lasso made as a tool internally. I have one problem with it which is while using discord i get a lot of drops and stutters especially when sharing screen, it happens if i let it on the windows cores or the game cores no difference if you have a solution to this problem it would be much appreciated. My cpu is ryzen 5600x.
Hey, brother I appreciate your videos, you gave some solid advices on your other videos I watched. Here though, I want you to check out the fact that doing exact thing that you are suggesting is actually causing more issues than it solved. I am on 7950x3D, I wrote 2 scripts, running those command lines and switched back and forth to see if all cores active would be better in games per your suggestion. It actually causes more stutters and dips for 0.1% lows. After doing a test back and forth I found that keeping those cores from clocking below certain frequencies actually creates more issues. Look for a video on my channel called for apples to apples scenario: "7950x3D: Examination of Idle States and 100% Active CPU Core State (RTX 4090) Red Dead Redemption 2" Sleep states for AMD actually makes more sense than having that sleep state off.
It is a nightmare for scheduling and AMD’s core parking works, but parks the wrong cores. Process Lasso is great, but requires considerable work. Probably easier to set CPPC in bios to “cache” and maybe use “process lasso” to move other “background tasks to the non 3d vcache cores. In any event, core parking should work out of the box as 98% of users don’t want to do anything in bios or use process lasso.
BROOO, i swear i never write RU-vid comments but for you I'm gonna do that!!!! I've spent weeks trying to figure out how to solve this... But all the time what i found was the exact same 2 methods, and NOTHING FIXED my story. YOU are the only SAVIOUR, and I'm so thankful you cannot imagine!! YOU ARE A HERO!!!
I'm trying it, and it seems to be good so far. I get the impression that Microsoft would have to have known that this setting might cause problems, or else why make it a configurable setting?
