I have just driven my first mini van. It was the chrysler pacifica.. My wife wanted to rent a SUV. I said lets try. We have two young children. 2.5 and 8 month old. We have a maverick 2023 with only 14000. We had it for one year. We are about to trade that in for a minivan. Drove from Vegas to Cali. I fell in love. My wife was not convinced. We drove back the next day, and she said he is completely convinced. So now we looking into the honda odyssey, toyota Sienna or kia Carnival.
I have a Lattitude. I love it. I lived in Colorado. Went lots of places other 4 by 4 in its class couldn't go. I run 215 65 17 fallen at. Transformed the ride handling performance
This is the third video Ive watched and I think I have come to the conclusion that I'm just going to need a minivan. Currently have 2 kids. We want 2 more. Currently drive a Ram 1500 quad cab, and it is fine with just the 4 of us (me, hubby, 2 kids) but once we drive grandpa anywhere, or bring the dog with us, it is way too cramped. Was hoping a three row SUV would work but seeing how squished they all are with carseats, I dont think that's gonna work 😭 Currently have 1 rear facing and 1 forward facing carseat, now imagine adding an infant seat into the mix? I guess a minivan is our answer 😢
I feel like this is an untapped market. This is the first of it's kind that I have seen that actually can cater to large families. Just like it was mentioned in the video, no stopping to pee, no stopping for something to drink, you can pack a change of clothes in the van, you can have them play a game or watch a movie (while still being able to use their phones/tablets). They can fall alseep in the massage chairs, etc. Useful everyday especially when having to wait in long lines at school to pick up the kids.
Subscribed. I GREATLY appreciate this thought out review. Many on Reddit seemed to have had issues with fitting car seats in the CX5 -I was getting discouraged but it did seem like a very subjective opinion.. and I have 1 child and myself being 5’1 lol. Thanks for the confirmation that all will work out well!
Very helpful I have 3 kids and my trusty minivan is at the end of her road. Two are booster age and my youngest just switched forward facing and I really like this vehicle. Thanks!
Nah he makes a good point about car sickness. I suffered from it growing up and sitting in the 2nd or even 3rd row of an SUV I don't have that problem on a 3-4hr trip. But for everything else, mpv 👌🏻
I wish my van had the stow seats. I have a much older version. Middle seat is also the only one with the thing for forward facing seats. I only have two kids, but i'd like to have a split third row seat so i could sit others back there. i was hoping this would show if you can fit rear facing car seats (that go up to 50 lbs rear facing) in the third row safely. i for the life of me can't seem to get it to work but i also have two toddlers thinking they are helpful while i try it.
I have baby twins and a barely 3 year old. The 3 year old isn't in a booster and can't buckle herself in. This means the back row is basically useless to me. I'm 6"8 and struggling work work out what will work as we need a wide 2nd row and lots of leg room for me as the driver. Any suggestions?
Hello, I've noticed that there's not many videos on the 2014 Chevy Traverse and am hoping you can help me by doing a video on how to take all the back seats out, as I want to turn my car into a campercar. Thank you
We got this because my son was starting to outgrow his infant seat and should last until he no longer needs a booster. This was easy to install and he seems much more comfortable than before!
I was hesitant At first spending this much money on a car seat but honestly think about it like this , you won’t have to buy another car seat ever again
The center is still an issue on my 2018 RAM 2500 crew cab. Not only the center seatbelt lacks an auto-locking retractor but, as seen in your video, the middle seat is significantly shallower than the two outboard seats such that our car seat overhangs the edge of the seat by 3+ inches which is out of spec with our car seat manufacturer's specifications. Ram still in 2023/2024 has not addressed this to my knowledge and thus I may end up switching truck brands. The new 2024 3500HD Duramax looks nice and does not have these issues in the back seat. Don't think I could stomach driving a Ford. I wish Ram would get with the times...all other things considered it has been an outstanding vehicle.
