Mr. Bram is looking at the refreshed 2021 Honda Ridgeline. This mid-cycle refresh has Changed how aggressive and feature rich this Ridgeline has been in the past! How does this Hone Ridgeline compare to the Ford Ranger or Chevrolet Colorado? Will it fit the Infant Carrier, Booster seats, LATCH secured car seats? How’s the Hatch?
Comment for more info on carseat brands.

I love your reviews! Is it possible for you to include rear facing car seats at a full recline as well though? I find that my Britax convertible car seat that is rear facing takes up way more room than my bucket seat did so I'm struggling to find vehicles that would fit these and still have enough leg room to be comfortable for my husband who is around 5'10

Our current set-up does not include these type of seats. We hope to include this in the future reviews once we have a car seat manufacturer partner!

If you don't off road this is your midsize truck hands down.

Exactly. Even for people going full size this might be a better option

A crew cab Tacoma is a more capable truck that is also more affordable of the same size. Ridgelines are super expensive for what they are at 41k you don't even get navigation or heated seats (according Doug Demuro's review) . Ridgelines are nice but they're just too expensive. I'm an expecting father and need to upgrade my ranger for the baby. Back when I was growing up the car seats could go in the front!

Perfect video - wife and I are thinking of a third kiddo so my small SUV has to go.

Hi, thanks for your review. Do you have any info on how rear facing car seats fit in this car?

Hi! Does the stroller fit in the hidden trunk bed? Wondering if it's deep/wide enough for a stroller?
@Travelwiththebrams
@Travelwiththebrams 2 года назад
I wish I had taste that. but I didn't. I don't believe it would unless it folded down in half...I tried to squeeze myself in the trunk for a gag and I didn't fit enough to close the lid...

Please do the new 2022 Ford Maverick. Would like to know if/how 3 car seats would fit in it. One rear facing infant, two forward facing.
@gamatoutsikos
@gamatoutsikos 2 года назад
Just curious why would you go to a maverick over a Ridgeline?
@farmerbak3r
@farmerbak3r 2 года назад
@@gamatoutsikos Significantly cheaper, and smaller and easier to park. Not to mention the 42 mpg city with the hybrid. Plus it looks more "truck-like" - the Ridgeline, while each revision is getting closer, still looks too much like an SUV in the front to me.
@gamatoutsikos
@gamatoutsikos 2 года назад
@@farmerbak3r true. I agree with all your points. I am thinking of getting a Ridgeline this week however lol. You are right about the things you mentioned but of course the Ridgeline has other pros. I said that if Honda offers a hybrid and make it 5k cheaper, it can be the best selling truck in N.A.
@farmerbak3r
@farmerbak3r 2 года назад
@@gamatoutsikos A Hybrid and $5k less would definitely make that become a much more enticing option for me.

So you don't own one 🤔? Is that what you're saying 🤔?

I do not. I will say I strongly approve for most truck owners!

The design of Ridgeline was better suited to meeting my needs than any other midsize truck. However, it has 2 fatal defects. First it is not an off-road truck, so the standard AWD only adds complexity, decreases fuel economy, and adds $3,000 to the price when compared to the completion. If you live in a snow belt then disregard that comment. Second, it has one of the last remaining interference timing belt engines. Apparently, Honda has no problem saving $10-15 per vehicle when they know every customer will spend $1,300 between 60,000 and 100,000 miles to change the timing belt and water pump. And the HPD package is more than a $3,000 option for some graphics and tire package. The cylinder deact. is also a non-starter for me. It might sticker for 36,490 but add in shipping and dealer addons and try buying a Ridgeline for less than $40,000 which is way too much for what you get.
@Travelwiththebrams
@Travelwiththebrams 2 года назад
This is all great information! I Like the HPD package and feel like it really makes the truck look more aggressive. Because the average driver only keeps new cars for 3-5 years the timing belt becomes the issue of the next driver. It just makes sense as a midsize truck!

@@pino_7428 lol really? He probably thought it took me so long write it, I might as well copy and paste it everywhere on the internet. I've looked quite a few videos and test drove a couple trucks. I am going to the dealer to buy one Thursday
