Isuzu Truck (UK) Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Isuzu Motors Limited Japan; Formed in 1996 it has grown with dealers spread far and wide throughout the UK. That's because Isuzu is making cars with designs that anticipate such emergencies. The most famous of Isuzu's trucks is the "3 and 1/2 trucks" of the Japan Self-Defense Force vehicles. This truck is designed to be able to navigate difficult roads that ordinary trucks cannot drive. The important point is the "minimum ground clearance" of Isuzu truck. The height of a typical truck is around 240 mm at the highest, while the height of Isuzu's trucks :"the 3 and 1/2 trucks" is 330 mm. This combination of high vehicle height and high-performance suspension makes it possible to drive on high steps and rough roads without getting caught in obstacles. In addition, the intake and exhaust systems of the engine are located at a high position, and are designed to have the ability to continue driving even when immersed in water of about 80 cm above the ground. In general, this should be high enough for the general public, but Isuzu was also particular about designing it considering emergencies and unexpected disasters. In other words, the water level will be 80 cm or more, and it was designed in advance so that it can respond to emergency situations. That's why, as shown in this video, while normal trucks stopped and could not run, only Isuzu trucks were able to move. Although it is not well known in the world, even during the great disaster of the Great East Japan Earthquake (March 11, 2011), while vehicles from other manufacturers could not drive, only the Isuzu truck was the only one that moved, and it worked as a disaster relief vehicle. At the time of the disaster, the people involved in the manufacturing and development of Isuzu Motors must have been filled with enthusiasm when they heard that the Isuzu truck was the only one that could be moved and useful in an emergency environment that could not be moved theoretically. The fundamental result is the pursuit and research of detailed consideration by engineers who assumed that it would be effective not only in normal times but also in the case of emergencies and disasters. It is a design concept that was conceived because Japan has many natural disasters. This is due to the attitude and technology of Japan people toward manufacturing.

Isuzu is rubbish.too much bouncing around.steering wheel does not come out far enough.pulling away from roundabouts is dangerous as it has to think about what it's doing for about 3 seconds before acceleration. Loads more I could put on here but what's the point.on the whole it's a dangerous vehicle, shoddy build and should be banned

How does the cruise control operate and can it be retro fitted? My 2016 n75.190 doesn't have it but I'm thinking of retro fitting it, I've seen the electric plug behind the dash panel where the cruise control ON switch should be, wondering what else it needs.
Since I was a toddler when we go to our home town in the Philippines I always see these bunch of Isuzu trucks especially Giga wingvans, Cow trucks and Pig trucks in the expressways. Everytime I see them I'm really happy to see them and also I have a tomica isuzu giga because that truck is my favorite truck since I was a kid until today.
