Wrong. The animosity from Black lesbian players directed especially at CC is real and has been publicly expressed for weeks. What Carter did was so obvious, and so obviously could be a fatal blow to the league that those who want the league to recover are saying it wasn't resentment by Black lesbians. Since BLM, Black lesbians have been the angry, resentful anti white and anti straight voice and face of the Black movement in the US. White liberals are afraid to say anything even when under attack. We have a political culture now of Black lesbians bullying white people and the WNBA is no different. The attacks on CC are so transparently racially and gender motivated the league is caught in the rookie hazing lie.
i think she sucks as a human being. she should be removed. along with diane tarausi, another thug. clean up the wnba, get rid of thugs, get some athletes in who don't have to beat opponents up to win a game. it's pathetic. thugs should play on the street.
I think Janiah Barker to UCLA is huge for her and the Bruins. She already is Uber talented and can play both forward positions. There's no one on UCLA or even in the country except for Lauren Betts that has a higher ceiling than Janiah Barker in terms of the WNBA. Although Barker hasn't shown much progress in her growth as a player from when she first arrived at Texas A&M, it's because of Joni Taylor and her Coaching staff in my opinion. That staff underachieved at Georgia and received a life line in Aggie Land. At UCLA Janiah will have 3 things that will propel her. First a Coach in Cori Close that has a good track record of developing WNBA talent and will help her with shot selection. Secondly a dominant big in Lauren Betts who demands the double teams leaving her free as a shooter,slasher or to crash boards on offense; plus use her speed and run the court on leak outs. And third she's going to have better guards in KiKi Rice, Charliss Ledger Walker and Londynn Jones who know how to play make not just for themselves but also for others. This could really launch her much higher than many people feel right now as she learns how to play off of other players. Remember she makes USA teams right now just on her talent; a 6'4 player with tremendous athleticism, speed, and quickness. She's versatile, tough and has the ability to put the ball on the deck. I'm not a UCLA fan, I'm a Women's Basketball fan; the Bruins with Barker can be scary good by the time the tournament rolls around next season.
CC has played in IOWA for 4 years and she and her team have not won ONE National Championship even though she could shoot lights out. Whoever made decisions about CC when she was playing college basketball did her a disservice to let her shoot lights out because when she had to sit on the bench, then what? Risky business!!! UCONN players have it over everyone because they have 11 National Championships and no one comes close to that.

Been trying to keep my interest in the WNBA but its been difficult lately. The veteran's bullying rookies may have always existed but its not exactly endearing them to the new fans. Also, the live and die reactions to everything Caitlin Clark based on the very last game is getting tiresome and boring. The WNBA is finally showing some kind of growth mostly because of Caitlin Clark and the league needs to decide how to balance out the drama with the disgust reaction some of the new fans are experiencing with the juvenile behavior shown on the court.
If all the nee CC fans are the problem why was there 27 years of complaining no one watches.. if any of the Vets had Finals defense put on them 94 feet every game they would have complained.. the WNBA has and alway will be catty drama clicks that complain about everything schrodinger's league they play both sidrs .. they are never wrong or accountable..take this rookie class move them overseas and they are growing that league like crazy

No. Nobody comes to the games to watch Carter play. Nobody. This is sooo true! Thank you! I've lived in CT most of my life and I'm a Bleed Blue UCONN fan, so UCONN basketball is part of the landscape here. We have 2 seasons in CT. We have summer. And, then we have basketball season. We are so lucky!!!
She isn't hated anymore than LeBron James was coming in with a lot of hype and players on teams like the Pistons saying how overrated they thought he was.
