Like everyone else, I'm extremely impressed, congratulations on achieving this! As a sidenote, what is your general approach to artifact farming / leveling? Those pieces must have taken forever to get.
Thanks, 👍! My approach is to usually farm a domain where both artifact sets get value for resin-efficiency. That is, you can use both artifacts from the domain you farm. For DPS characters, I only level pieces that have both CRIT stats and a third offensive stat like ATK% (or ER% for XiangLing), though nowadays I have a condition where the stats have to be high rolls. If I need to farm an artifact set from a domain but don’t need the other set (i.e., Husk of Opulent Dreams for Noelle), I will always strongbox the artifact set because I don’t want to lose half of my artifacts to something I won’t use. For supports, I just keep in mind what sub-stats they generally use and save the pieces to test, but starter character supports don’t really need much investment, so I just get the 4-piece effects they need and stop there. My main focus right now is farming Emblem for XiangLing. Even though I don’t have access to Bennett nor XingQiu to help her get full value out of her kit, she’s still contributing a ton of value to each fight.

I used Anemo Traveler in 12-1 because I needed to stun-lock the Fatui operatives and abuse fall damage, as described in the text commentary. For 12-2, it’s to provide an easy way to group the Fatui Agents at the start of wave 1, which is needed given how small Barbarah’s skill range is
I’m starting to take this kind of challenges in my account, and whit those 301 resets now I understand that maybe some of them are do-able if I improve some things. You’re a true inspiration! Hopefully that new endgame content makes these kind of challenges even more extended
A lot of people don’t understand that abyss is about having a perfect rotation, not perfectly built c6 characters, my teams are all great and I can’t pass floor 10 cause I don’t know perfect rotations
these types of abyss run are the most humbling cuz i have all the 5* supports and i have the best dps characters and still can’t 9/9 floor 12 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭☠️
It’s a segmented run, meaning I abandon the run after each chamber to change builds and Traveler’s alignment and start the run over from the beginning to get to 12-3. You don’t lose stars you’ve previously earned if you abandon the run.
That was some good ass Genshin. What makes the video even better was that you explain even the small nuances of your positioning and rotation often. Your artifacts is good but not that crazy to obtain compared to other "F2P" videos. Using Sword of Narzi, Ameno Traveler to trigger fall damage to your advantage, Lynette's taunt skill to run a non healer/shielder team was nice. You was digging deep in the box of tricks. Good stuff.
Unfortunately, I’m limiting the scope of these videos to floor 12 only because this is most people’s focus and it’s too difficult for me to balance making more videos with graduate school
Honestly - oh my god. Even after so much resets, a month of planning and a limited roster, you still managed to clear floor 12 gaining all 9 stars. I love how you outsmarted Hoyoverse by making this F2P actually F2P😭😭 mad respect for you. This is motivating me to build my characters lol
As someone who every other abyss does 4*s only abyss runs, I'm honestly so impressive that you managed to do this unholy line up with starter characters only. I have deep respect for your persistency and ingenuity.
