I applied a blue filter (Night Vision LUT) in OBS and put the aiming cross on top of it by adding a PNG image. It gives that nice phosphor look. See: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o7q39pbu9Ok.html

We're into the migration season, and waterfowl typically ascend to altitude on the evening thermals to fly overnight, which is both more efficient and also avoids daytime predators. They're an eerie sight however, surprisingly high and swift in the thinner air up there..
@starsandnightvision
@starsandnightvision 11 дней назад
I'm not sure about that. Something tells me the space between the dots is too consistent, fixed even. I see not the slightest change in the formation during the video. Birds always deviate a bit, relative to eachother. Also, wouldn't waterfowls fly in a V pattern at such altitudes?

Great video. They do not look like satellites. Satellites normally move from west to east. These ones are moving in opposite directions. There are too little retrograde satellites, but it is highly improbable to see them in the same night. My conclusion is that some of them are not satellites.

awesome finding, thanks for sharing. I 've been thinking of leaving a camera (wyze) to record any motion in the sky at night... but never thought about using one with night vision. my question is, do you know of a good camera for this purpose? where I live the sun hits very hard, so I guess it needs to be automated to point down at day so the lens are not damaged.
@starsandnightvision
@starsandnightvision Месяц назад
You could go for the NV8160 which you can hook up to a laptop to record all night via USB cable. The onboard recording capability only allows for 2,5 hours of video (32GB sd card). Don't worry about the lens and sunlight, it's digital not analogue night vision.

Lots of triangles up there. I have seen those and noticed them in the sky above some urban areas. I wonder if they are ours or theirs. I have seen a triangular craft silently hovering above Puget Sound, along with a friend, with a glowing orange dome on the bottom. It stayed there for a couple of hours. I have also seen a craft in the distance on a very clear night in Southern California come in from space and bounce off of the ionosphere while taking out the trash at midnight. I think at this point there are two kinds of people; those that have seen UFOs and acknowledged them and those that have see UFOs and refuse to acknowledge them out of social conformance.
