Great tip...my only concern is the app itself. All privacy policies, etc...are in Chinese...my concern is back doors and data privacy...Subscribed...

I wouldnt worry too much, its just a camera not a phone.

Does this only work in the recorded video or also through the lens while wearing the device? And does it work when the app isn’t connected?

Works also trough the lens and without the app as well. When you restart the camera it will still be at the exposure value you set earlier.
