Well what type of grease if not rubber? Moly?? Great product but this screams contact us and we’ll sell you some overpriced grease. Just tell us what type of grease if we’re servicing the bush
I don't see any issues with a 2" lift. Maybe 3-4" lifts should add a diff drop, but I know lots of folks that have 2" lifts that have no issues with their CV shafts.
Never underestimate good 'ol anti-sieze. It is so extremely important. You don't want the metal sleeve in the poly bush to rust to the bolt over the years. When it comes time to replace you wont be able to get the bolt out! I had to use a sawzall and cut my leaf spring bolts from each side because the bush sleeve became one with the bolt.
Buying a whole control arm with bushes pre fitted makes me think... is this steel... steel... or recycled reinforced plastic lol... it's 2023... everything is a fake knock off crap cheap remake. I would never retro fit anything but an OEM control arm. That's not just you guys... from anyone... I have 0% trust in any non OEM part these days... honestly I'd rather drive a 1980s car these days over anything that's "engineered to break after new car warranty" car made post 2000's
G'day A 2" suspension lift for IFS 4wd's is the maximum legal lift Testing has proven that a diff drop has absolutely no advantage and is a waste of money Cheers
G'day So IFS 4wd's If you fit these, then pull the pin What stops the cv boots from being ripped apart from the remaining parts flopping around? Cheers
All this is ,is an advert doesn’t really tell you much about if the sway bar bushes or the drop links are worn what the effects are wether these worms parts will cause your car to wonder
Hi, thanks for the video ..... why does the bolt have two threads? ... at the end and also later a smooth part and then another bit of thread, what is that small part of the thread for?
Yes, the idea of injecting the boots with lubrication to reinstall the pivot points sounds like my next plan of action to attack my vibrations and noise. Is meat grease from the fast food businesses + dirty used needles from casino bathroom trash cans the cheapest way to procure the grease + needles?
NO, THE DIFF BUSH DOES NOT JUST DROP OR PUSH IN!, THE BUSH IS A NIGHTMARE TO FIT IN AND IS NOT WELL DESIGNED!. ps, the 2005 Pontiac GTO uses the same bush.
i hate when i buy bushes and shocks and they dont tell you the way the things should be facing. I am installing some of these today and I would have cupped the bush. The instructions should always state the proper way instead of pages of warnings
If you dont want your bushes to tear from outside then put lubrication on outside as well. all rubber boots tear from the outside even though nothing grind on them.
Thank you so much for making this video. I have been trying to figure out what parts are on my suv by site. I have been looking it up by describing where it's located on the car. Thats makes it kind of hard to figure out what something is when you have no knowledge on what it is called. Just like you said people using lingo being inerchangable made it really cunfusing. How you exsplanded it was wonderful and so easy to under stand so thank you. I going to keep coming back to your videos to learn more!
So I drive an 09 dodge caliber and as of now I have to replace my front subframe due to rust that tore up my driver side swaybar bracket so it clanks against my tie rod I believe. I have negative camber on both front driver and passenger side tires. I jack up the front end and there is no play left, right, up and down of my tires. what would cause inner tire wear on both sides?
