Bought this Citizen Watch after this movie since I like my Bulova Lunar Pilot as much as You do. Citizen Promaster Titanium it’s a great watch and I love it.
Great video. What is your wrist size? Saw another video that said that the male end links make it fit quite big, but it looks well-sized on your wrist.
Very good review/cinematography. I have the Ti version of this watch and it’s a fabulous watch. The weight is manageable but the bracelet is still a little uncomfortable. I put my name on the list and forgot about it; it was probably over two years before I got the email. Would I sell it? Absolutely no way.

Hi! Unfortunately not, that is a strap I received with Forteller Cambrian a while back.. but try CNS straps, Have seen some similar ones there for few bucks
Good, honest review. I got the red dial one and ordered a curved end black rubber strap to change out the bracelet once it arrives. I might have to change the crown if it's a real in the ass.
The red one is probably and honestly the best pick still… I somehow came to peace with the crown… not ideal, but its just a little flaw, little pricey to pay for otherwise amazing watch 🤷♂️ congrats to yours, hombre!!!
I have San Martins in my collection. I like them, they are well crafted, fairly priced, good materials. No seiko tax. I am a seiko fanboy, but they are not loyal to me, so I am not loyal to them
Certainly feels that way… I am a massive Seiko fanboy, but there isn’t many watches nowadays that you would consider amazing value for money…. Amazing watches yes… just not amazing value…
It is the perfect first watch, hombre! I still own it after switching so many other watches and still absolutely love it… got 7” wrist… I love it… it is not going anywhere
Glad I’m not the only one that didn’t like it. My GF said it looked like a boring grandpa watch. Returned it, went with the srpj. Still a field watch, but has more character.
I have six. I love them and have this with a green enamel dial. My favourite is the 62 Mas chronograph which seiko should have made but didn't. The San Martin chronograph is a fantastic watch. Mine is well into COSC in all 6 positions.
I just found your video. Beautiful work, especially if only using your iPhone. This watch really grabbed my attention a few weeks ago. I’ve been looking at so many others since but I keep coming back to this one. I really wanted a bit more of a gunmetal case like this vs just brushed stainless. This video just helped me make up my mind with all the details you eloquently spoke about. You definitely earned my subscription.

@@WatchWatch-ck6xl once it comes in later this week I'll let you know what I think after I wear it a few days. I was able to get it from an authorized dealer on sale for $550 USD and then had a 5% off as being new to this dealer so was able to get it for around $525.
@@WatchWatch-ck6xl honestly. It’s a simple fix. That’s just the testament to the fact that SanMartin copies well and is not capable of design. The only thing original on these watches is the logo design and they got that wrong. Usually text logos are better than trying to apply a logo that looks like a heavy metal album cover from the 1980s

Bought the exact same watch because I wanted to see what every single channel raves about "the finishing'. Well it is so much better in the hand. I'm wearing it so much more than I thought. And like yours it is only gaining about 1 second a day. Incredible.
I want to poopoo San Martin for the lack of originality, but they make an excellent watch. Beautiful finishing and at a price that makes me wonder why I pay more for other brands - especially Swiss brands.

I have the same watch but with screw links and a shark on the case back and crown. I think watchdives has some older stock. Got mine on Ali. Btw SM has excellent customer service, they are aligning my bezel right now.
I always liked that design. 62MAS looks very similar to 37mm version of Blancpain Bathyscaphe from 1956. I can't help it but think that the Japanese designers basically copied it in the 60-ties. I guess that's a good thing, since nobody can really afford the original.

To be completely honest, this watch is better finished, especially the bracelet is different league… but its not fair question for me since I absolutely love the kamasu, I appreciate the originality and the brand more, so I would take Kamasu all day everyday… Cheers

A homage watch is a timepiece that takes inspiration from another watch, often an iconic or luxurious design, and incorporates some of its visual elements. This is a exact copy of the Seiko, with a only a name change. That's not a design element lol. Saying this is homage is just not correct. Clomage. Where all the different design elements from the original? Name change?
I bought the same watch, but changed out of the bracelet to a tropic fkm (those 10 usd ones from aliexpress), and never looked back. It's a fantastic watch at a killer price! Just wished they had used clear AR on the glass.
That was my plan, because I felt like it belongs on tropical rubber strap and I will eventually do it anyway, but I like the bracelet so much more than I expected, that I will keep it on for a while 😁 cheers!
I bought an earlier version of this about 3 years ago, with the same coloured dial! I put it on a dark green perforated rubber strap & it’s so damn comfortable!🥰👍🏼😎
I think the earlier version looked better to be honest, but this one is still a killer for the money… I will totally eventually put it on rubber too… this watch belongs on rubber 😁 but I like the bracelet so much that for the time being I Will keep it on
I own 3 San Martin watches and I’m always on the lookout for my next one. The value for money is unbeatable and they are continuously improving designs.
I have one for a long time, but it is a quartz D12 style watch that I got for 80$ like couple of years ago, I really like that one, but I haven’t dared to make any conclusions about their more expensive watches… this one honestly caught me off guard… its superb for the money… Cheers

After hearing all the good reviews of San Martin I bought one with a GMT with a marble dial. Enjoyed it so much I bought another with an adventurine dial. Love the size of the watch, the finishing and the adjustable bracelet. Would definately consider another one in the future
Honestly I was pretty hesitant to buy it, it always felt like a bit too much “for a Chinese watch”, but after this experience, I think I will consider one of their GMTs also 😂 Cheers!
This is one of the few homage watches I've considered, and I've considered it for all of the reasons you highlighted. I'll probably wait until their next big sale, but you may have just pushed me over the edge. Great video, as always 👍

Great value on paper. I own one. But it's a bit vanilla and boring. The bracelet is trash, which is fine. At this price I would expect to have to change it. I absolutely HATE the non AR coated crystal. There is a constant cloudy/haze blocking a clear view of the beautiful dial. I would have preferred a mineral crystal over this sapphire. At least I would be able to see the dial clearly. At this point the aftermarket does not offer a flat AR coated sapphire for this watch. This is the only watch I have bought that I am considering not keeping.
That is absolutely fine, señor… I think that is the beauty of this hobby, I tend to keep mine, not only because I still really like it, but because of emotional value 🤷♂️ but I gotta say I got the black variant and I don’t find the crystal that bad, not even in the video.. got quite a few watches that give me harder times with their crystals 😂 Anyway, cheers! I love watches but I am NOT going any deeper than where I'm currently sunk 😂. I'm not messing around. I'm keeping my Citizen Promasters and Orients. In spite of their bracelets. I can't stop looking at the orange dial of my Ray 2 and the blue dial of my Pepsi bezel Kamasu. That's all I need.
I bought one about a month ago and love it. I wear it in the pool, while working, and everywhere else and don't worry about it. Only thing that slightly bothers me is how easy the bezel turns. I was looking for a Seiko but happened on the Fujitsubo and I'm really glad I went with the Citizen.
Congrats!!! I still think its an amazing value - you just don’t get high beat, antimagnetic movement, titanium and history for that money elsewhere 🤷♂️ I still really do love mine…cheers!!!
