I'm Daniel, a designer and tech enthusiast! I have more than 22 years of experience working with graphics, 3D animation and marketing. Technology is something that always pushed me to learn more and improve my skills.
The goal of this channel is to build a community where we can do projects together and push the limits of the laser and technology world.
Let's see what we can make together and remember FIRE THE LASER!
Hi Cobey, I received my kit today and have already installed it. Boy does it make a big difference. I recommend this to anyone with an Ultra! Just buy it! easy to install and works great!
old vid i know, however got a spanking one this weekend, the honeycomb nows comes with rubber feet, stops it moving about, though you lose 2-3mm depth of cut
Yeah some.users recently mentioned and some decided to remove it and use the alignment in offer, loosing a couple millimeters if you don't have the raiser is not great tho.
great video! excellent point on how the size of the bed is really a practical matter. Glad you are happy with both. your jigs / fixtures are fantastic. I am going to have to up my game. what settings did you use for the slate on the diode? did you try the fiber on it too? I'll check the next video
I'm finishing testing the fiber soon. I'm trying to be really fair on my opinion and comparisons with Xtool. I did 80power, 200mm/s speed 1k that is equal to 260 lines on Xtool vector graphic
Hi will depend on your design but check where it attaches to the frame. When you set up. Normally it is top right if your attachment is on the left and remember to mirror the image.
I use Haotian Laser and has been nothing but amazing over the two years I have it. probably the best bang for your buck. haotianlaser.store/ use the code AliveHaotian for $100 off
How accurate are those for lets, engraving on a Leatherman? I would love to get something that can heat up the stainless steel to change color yet be very precise.
I'm gonna be doing part two that is testing on a lot of materials but so far my testing seems to be stronger than drool F1 ultra due to smaller dispersion of the laser
Love your jigs. Have a few. Mostly the older jigs often do not have an object placed in the middle where you would focus the laser, so that usually adds some hassle. On some of the jigs I made, I added a focus point. A little post with a white sticker on it that sits at the height of the objects that fit the jig. Makes focusing dead simple. Looking forward to the license plate jig from you. Thanks!
Great explanation, thank you. Glad I found your video. I am so tempted though. Right now in Canada, there is an amazing sale on the newer D1 Pro 2.0 20W WITH air assist, RA2 Pro rotary with risers, fire safety kit, and honeycomb... all for $1179 CDN$... I am sooooo tempted. I have the D1 Pro 20W, but not the rotary or the fire safety kit.
all comes to your market, but price can be from $5 each to $10 depending quantity of course, If you buy in bulk the blanks you get around $1.5 to $2 per glass on your cost after that is only engraving.
Daniel, your Roly is too clean, you must not cut much with it. My two haven't looked like that since they were a week old. They are the best diode gantries out there. Don't forget Bamboo is grass not wood and tung oil need to be fully cured to be food safe.
same thing move the focus up a little, you can place a 2 mm space to get the focus there instead the cutting board. the important is to defocus just a little, you might need to test one or two times before find how much you need to defocus. each laser is different
