After a couple weeks playing and learning some more on the software I decided to test some of the most common materials for the 20w Blue Light Laser. We will be doing a side by side comparison soon but wanted to talk to you and give you my impressions on the blue light compared to Xtool F1 Ultra and the huge hype that a lot of money and marketing have created.
Software: This design space reminds me the old Laser Box from Xtool where it was hard to find things and do what you wanted to do. The biggest issue is saving settings, selecting elements and layers and trying to optimize engraving time.
Finally, quality. The Laser Pecker 5 is definitely a more realistic good choice of field lens and working area. It makes me wonder if Xtool ever tried a real fiber to ensure the best working area for the lens. LP5 decided to use a smaller area to maximize how even and powerful the laser beam is on your material. Personally I really like it for a 20w Blue Laser and 20w Fiber. Good job LP5
